Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, but I do want you to know that these are my go-to shoes for pretty much everything these days. They are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I only hope you offer more wide toe box options in the future! Thanks!

Both shoes and backpack are poor quality
I bought 2 shoes and a backpack, and unfortunately, neither lasted and the quality is terrible.... The shoes are technically waterproof, but after the first contact of light rain it started to get stained. I tried to wash it, and it got so much worse. I thought it was my fault for washing it and leaving it soaked, so I bought another one and decided to never wash it. But it still got stained from light rain or walking in wet grass. Beyond that, after a couple months of use, both started tearing apart. And the inside of the backpack is completely torn as well, after travelling with it for a couple of times.

UPDATED: Game me a refund
After my original post (where they ghosted me), the company contacted me and said their system had been emailing me and they don't know what happened. They did not have the color I ordered (didn't have it when I ordered it), but offered alternatives. I requested a refund instead and they gave it to me quickly. Upgrading from 1 star to 3, as the refund experience was good. I ordered a pair of Trekkers on 7/4, got an automatic email confirmation. After a couple of weeks, I replied (as their email says to do) asking about the order, and got an automatic email saying they usually respond within 24 hours (business days). A week later I tried calling the number on their site and it seems to be invalid. So I emailed again, got another automated response, and still no shoes or any contact explaining the delay. My credit card showed the charge the next business day after I ordered them (7/6), so I would have expected some response by now.

Outstanding customer service & genuine care!
Initially, my experience with the order was quite frustrating due to a system glitch and duplicate payment issues, which led me to leave a negative review. However, how the team handled the situation completely turned things around. The Operations Manager, Patrícia, handled my case with incredible empathy, honesty, and professionalism. The refund was processed lightning-fast, and as a gesture of apology for the stress caused, they generously sent me a free pair of shoes and hemp socks! Glitches happen, but 8000Kicks proved how much they value their customers. They fully regained my trust, and I ended up backing their new model on Kickstarter. Fantastic customer support!

Overall amazing experience
I’ve been really impressed with 8000Kicks. The quality of the products is excellent, especially if you’re looking for comfortable, lightweight shoes that are a bit different from the usual brands. You can tell there’s a lot of thought put into both the design and the materials. Customer support was also quick, friendly and genuinely helpful whenever I had a question. It’s refreshing to see a company that actually stands behind its products. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be ordering again.
