We did a snowmobile tour with them! Really dont worse the money. We tried to write to them and explain our disappointment, but their answer was really saying that they were OK. 1. First, the meeting point had been changed, but we were not informed about this. When we arrived at the original meeting point, there was no one there. Only after going onto your website did we discover that the meeting point was actually somewhere else. 2. When we arrived at the location where we were supposed to get our equipment, the toilets were not working and there was no running water. There was also a hot drinks station, but when we tried to get a drink, the person accompanying us told us that we could not have one and rushed us to get dressed as quickly as possible. 3. The biggest disappointment, however, was the actual snowmobile ride. We drove for no more than about 15 minutes in each direction, meaning that the total riding time was only around 30 minutes. Considering that the activity is advertised online as a four-hour experience, this was extremely disappointing. 4. In addition, the ride was not really on snow. While I understand that weather conditions can affect the amount of snow, we ended up driving on a marked trail like a road, over melted ice and through water, which was very different from what was described and shown on your website. Overall, we felt that the experience did not match what was advertised, and we were very disappointed. Defiantly not worse the money!

We recommend Arctic Adventure with all our hearts. We noticed how they pick up their clients to the buss, taking an extra time if some were late. We talked with so many who took their tours and were thrilled to recommend them! They also understand this important matter: A great service for tourists like us does not end when the tour is over!!! They are the ones ultimately responsible for our happiness as tourists. Therefore, for us, they took the extra step to help us receive our money back for an error, NOT DUE TO THEIR FUALT, just because they care. We missed our bus due to timing misunderstanding – and they immediately offered another tour free of charge! Who does that today? They did not have to do that, but Ms. Filipenka, their customer care specialist, decided to do the right thing. Next time we are in Iceland we will book DIRECTLY only with Arctic Adventure. We hope everyone does the same.

We booked two tours with Arctic adventures and had great experiences on both accounts. We did the explorer hike at skaftaffel glacier, with our very friendly and knowledgable guide, Jazek, who lead us up to amazing sight of the cravasses and glacier pikes. He was also very helpful guiding us back down safely. Our second tour was snorkling at Silfra, with the lovely, friendly guide Nail, which was another once in a lifetime experience of gorgeous sights. My experience with arctic adventures is that guides are very well trained to make you feel comfortable in the new conditions. They are very knowledge regarding safety, geographical and historical facts. They were also very sociable, made the effort to learn our names by heart, and make conversation throughout the tour. Thank you very much for making our trip unforgetable.

Review: Arctic Adventures — Ice Cave Tour, Iceland We are experienced travelers, and this trip to Iceland had been on our list for a long time. It was, in many ways, a bucket list adventure for my mother, and we were thrilled to be fulfilling that dream together as a family. We had our itinerary planned out, but this particular tour came recommended to us by our hotel concierge; the kind of "you only live once" suggestion that felt in the spirit of the trip. In hindsight, I didn't ask all the right questions before booking. We did what we thought was due diligence: we checked the tour on the company's website, spoke directly with the hotel concierge, and discussed it as a family before committing. At no point in any of those conversations were we advised that the tour was not suitable for elderly travelers. We understood we'd be out enjoying dramatic glacier views. What we were not informed of was the true physical nature of the experience; we assumed there would be reasonable amenities and convenience along the way, including access to bathrooms. Instead, this turned out to be a full physical, action-based excursion involving crampons, helmets, and a signed liability waiver, requirements that were never made clear to us in advance. For two members of our party in their eighties, with existing health conditions, this was simply not appropriate, and by the time that became apparent, we were already at a remote glacier site with no way to turn back. That realization created genuine stress, worry, and concern, not just for the two family members directly affected, but for all of us watching it unfold. Understandably, we tried to raise this with the hotel right away. Our concierge, however, was not available for us to speak with for the remainder of our stay. She had separately advised us, regarding another booking, that a cancellation within 24 hours would result in a full refund; that assurance did not hold, and we ultimately lost the entire amount paid. We then raised the matter formally with Arctic Adventures. What followed was a drawn-out process spanning close to two months, met with delay after delay. Responsibility was repeatedly redirected to the hotel rather than addressed directly by the company that designed, classified, and operated the tour. At no point did Arctic Adventures take direct ownership of the situation, and no refund was ever issued by Arctic Adventures itself. I want to be fair here: the people on the ground, the guides, the drivers, the staff we actually met during our time in Iceland, were wonderful. That's not in question. In fact, it was some of those very guides who, seeing what had happened, encouraged us to take action and demand a refund. But our experience with the administration behind the scenes was a different story entirely. It felt like a team that is in it for the money, not for customer satisfaction; polite in tone, but unwilling to take responsibility, unwilling to engage directly with what we raised, and unwilling to make things right. To be clear: this tour is not inherently wrong, and it may well be a wonderful experience for the right traveler. But that isn't really what this review is about. It's about the lack of responsibility taken by the company, the lack of a fair refund, and the lack of basic courtesy shown to a family who raised legitimate, well-documented concerns in good faith. If you're booking with Arctic Adventures, ask direct, specific questions about physical requirements and age suitability before you go, and don't assume a hotel recommendation or a general "Easy" rating tells you everything you need to know.

I booked the tour Ring Road 7 days/6nights, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide was Oskar and he did an amazing job. I booked directly with the firm on their website and I recommend doing that, because I felt much more informed in the process leading up to my trip. Plus you can read in detail about the itinerary and what to expect.
