This company is a scam - stay away
Stay away from this company. We placed an order for 6 qty. wooden wall panels in Walnut with premium 3-sided Wood Veneer on Tuesday 11th August 2026 from akuwoodpanel.ie and paid €539.82 including delivery. We have received no emails or call from Akuwoodpanel.ie since order. We've have sent multiple emails and no response. I went to there office in 51 Bracken Road, Sandyford Business Park, Sandyford, Dublin 18, D18 CV48, Ireland which is fake and UK phone number +44 (0)20 8059 2511 is never answered. Do not use this scam company.

Extremely concerning experience.
I strongly regret buying from Aku Woodpanel DE and cannot recommend this company. We purchased Aku Woodpanel acoustic panels for use inside our home. After the panels were placed in the living space, three people in the household experienced strong eye irritation, itching, and tearing. The reaction was immediate and repeated. The room only became tolerable again with strong ventilation. We contacted Aku Woodpanel several times because this is a serious health-related concern. At first, they replied but once the issue became serious, they simply stopped responding. We sent several follow-ups and formal letters. They ignored them. This is, in my view, a complete lack of ownership and responsibility. A company selling interior wall panels for residential use should not disappear when a customer reports health symptoms linked to the product. Ignoring a serious complaint is deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. The company lack proper emission documentation, including the basis for their “Formaldehyde (MDF): CARB P2” statement and VOC/TVOC testing for the complete finished panel. For a product sold for use inside homes, this is alarming. We are now escalating the matter through consumer protection, product safety/health authorities, and legal channels. Based on our experience, I would advise serious caution before buying from Aku Woodpanel. Do not rely on marketing claims. Ask for complete independent emission certificates before purchase. If something goes wrong, our experience suggests that the company may simply avoid responsibility.

Paid for samples, they never arrived, contacted company who said they had no stock and offered a refund but despite several requests they never returned my money. Had to initiate a chargeback to get my money back. Based on my experience I will not do any business with them in the future.
