Amazing company and trip
Absolutely amazing experience traveling with Altezza. We did a two week honeymoon package with a 7 day private Lemosho Kilimanjaro trek and 6 day safari. Everything was incredibly well organized and executed. The customer support team was so responsive and thoughtful throughout the planning process. They provided a great balance of guidance and personalization. Our Kilimanjaro team was fantastic from beginning to end. We couldn’t have felt safer on the mountain with our guides, Bosco and Gama who were always attentive and prepared. The whole team was so professional and really made the experience enjoyable- especially our waiter, Baraka who was so friendly and great to hang out with every day! They even prepared a surprise birthday cake/celebration! Following up the hike with a safari afterwards was the perfection combination. We were incredibly lucky to have Cathbert as our safari guide for the week, who was an expert in finding unbelievable wildlife, including some of the more rare animals and great views of the wildebeest river crossings/migration. He made sure everything was comfortable and the Altezza car was top of the line. Altezza included many thoughtful touches throughout the trip with some extra gifts/souvenirs and frequently checking in to make sure things were going great. Overall, I would highly recommend Altezza to anyone looking to climb Kilimanjaro and/or safari in Tanzania. They put together a dream honeymoon for us and provided an absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end.

I’ve just come back from Kilimanjaro…
I’ve just come back from Kilimanjaro and had an amazing experience with Altezza Travel from start to finish. The communication before the trip was excellent. We received so much useful information, everything was explained clearly and in detail, and any questions we had were answered quickly. It really felt like we were supported every step of the way, even before arriving in Tanzania. During the climb, the whole team was simply outstanding. The guides were incredibly experienced, professional and knowledgeable, and there was always someone available to help with absolutely anything. They didn’t just take care of the logistics – they also kept our spirits up, motivated us when things got tough, and genuinely cared about everyone in the group. That made a huge difference. The entire crew worked incredibly hard. The food was excellent, the tents were warm and comfortable, and everything was organised to a very high standard. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Something else that really stood out to me was how positively the local team spoke about Altezza as an employer. They told us they are treated well, looked after, well fed, and that the tipping system is transparent and fair. It was reassuring to know that the people working so hard are respected and valued by the company. That matters a lot to me when choosing who to travel with. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Altezza Travel again, and I would happily recommend them to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro or explore Tanzania. Thank you to everyone who made this such an unforgettable experience!

Kilimojaro hike
Well where do i start.. Soon as i land i was welcomed by a altezza staff member who took my suit case & drove me to a lovely tucked away hotel Aishi.. Was made to feel very welcome & well looked after upon arrival. Once all kit was checked with everything i needed meself & sergio who also came to do kili from brazil we set off with 15 altezza crew members. Rayson was a very Experienced guide with over 200+summits & Osward another amazing guide with 50+ summits. Without them, there chef, dish washer,waiter, porters & all other important roles from the crew we wouldnt have got to the top of kilimojaro.. Morning & evening medical checks on route up kili. Being so high up a mountain you would think meals might be abit basic but not from altezza. Our chef william was on the ball & made us delicious fresh cooked meals morning, lunch, evening every day. After summit day. we walked the 15km through the rain forest to mweke gate where you finish your hike. From here you relax, have food, then jump on to your bus but you make a short stop at a lovely souvenir shop, once you have a couple things from the shop you head back to the hotel, where you are congratulated by both guides, handed certificate from the national park stating you have completed kili with also a beautiful medal.. Honestly such a great achievement for my self & sergio but it all comes down to altezza & there crew so thank you so much for a wonderful adventure it truely has been amazing.. Shaun

Absolutely fantastic.
One oh the best mountain experiences I have ever had. They’re organized, flexible and friendly. The guides (Osward abd Rayson) are terrific and the whole team do their best to make it an unforgettable experience. They also have the luxury package if you want more comfort.

We had the most incredible experience…
We had the most incredible experience hiking Mount Kilimanjaro! The team of experienced guides and porters were truly amazing. They took such good care of us. Our guides, Imran and Khatib, were the absolute best guides! We booked a private hike for four of us, hiking the Machame route in seven days. We all made it to the top of Africa! Thanks to the help of our guides and many porters. Altezza goes above and beyond to care for their clients. The people of Tanzania are so friendly and encouraging, both to us as visitors but also to each other. I definitely recommend booking a Kili climb with Altezza! Request Imran and Khatib and you will not be disappointed.
