Return policy is ambiguous
Good price and fast shipping. However...the size noted on the listing is incorrect. I replied to them with photos showing this, and the reply was that the chimney was "for use with a different product". That's great, but many products are used in different situations: the listed size should be what matters. So I read their extensive return instruction page. Directions say you must email first to be eligible. If approved, they will email a return shipping label (deducted from return amount total). I fill in the form, email in that I am requesting a return, and the reply is "Thank you for telling us." I reply once more asking if I'm doing something wrong regarding their procedures, and now I'm told that I should just send it and pay for shipping first. I have no confidence that I will receive any refund at this point. Again, good product at a good price, but if the posted size is incorrect, you may be out of luck (and money).

Charged more than twice actual shipping…
Charged more than twice actual shipping costs. Actual cost to ship was $26. They charged me $94. Calls to the company were met with shifting the blame and very rude CSR's. Nothing but a bunch of scammers.

Returning an antique lamp fitter
I ordered an antique lamp fitter for $40.18 that did not fit. I returned it in its original condition and package and paid $5.80 for return delivery. Total expenditure $45.98. They refunded me $30.79 and when I complained they still did not fully refund. Very bad customer service, I'll never buy there again!

An excellent, top notch, high quality supplier for antique lamps
Antique Amp Supply is absolutely a great source for antique lamps in terms of keeping them looking antique and working and functioning well. I always purchase my switches from them due to their large inventory, high quality, and rapid shipping. Also, if you send them an email, they respond very rapidly. A truly great company and I am very happy I found them.

These items are not weight rated
These items are not weight rated! Purchased hanging supplies to hang a beautiful antique glass light fixture and the hook popped right off. The chandelier fell and broke irreparably. Spoke to Customer Service and was told, "We do not sell weight rated items". My husband said, "You mean you sell hanging supplies for antique light fixtures that will not hold up the light fixtures?" They replied ... "None of our items are weight rated." Fortunately, no one was injured but sadly this beautiful irreplaceable light fixture is ruined. Antique Lamp Supply said they do not accept any liability for their products. DO NOT PURCHASE.
