Total organisational shitshow! AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I ordered a washing machine, dishwasher and hob from AO over the phone. I paid 1,800 pounds, took a day off work. When the drivers arrived, they said that someone had taken my address down incorrectly when I made my order over the phone. The drivers said they couldn't deliver and install the three items I had bought, even thought I had proof of purchase. I phoned AO, they said they could only correct the address by 'failing' the delivery and rebooking on a different day. I had been through a security procedure on the phone, so they knew it was me. No one apologised. I was told if I wanted to cancel the order I would have to be put on hold whilst they first rang the drivers and 'failed' the delivery.

What a disgusting company this is
What a disgusting company this is. We paid hundreds of pounds for a fridge freezer including fitting. They took our money and stated it would be delivered today Friday 21 August. They sent a further message to say it's to be delivered between 9am and 12.45. That time passed and we rang them to be told they don't even have our product in stock and it'll be available in October. What a bunch of skanks. DONT TRUST THIS COWBOY COMPANY THEY ARE DISGUSTING DECEIVERS. Why pretend it's out for delivery when you know it's not even in stock. No excuses. Most of the day wasted now. If they had any decency they would offer compensation for lying to us but as stated they are low life's. Just look at page 2 of reviews on here and the company sends replies to 1* ratings claiming they don't sell household appliances when they do. What a scam company they are. Shameful.

Spent 4 hours on line trying to find a…
Spent 4 hours on line trying to find a fridge freezer, found one and made alterations to my boat so it would fit, i paid near as dammit £40 to join there ( 5 star club) which i gave my address to get, and then tried to order and pay for it but could not get to check out. When i called them to find out what was going wrong,the first person told me to cancel and try again and said she could do it on the phone but i would not get my discount, tried again still would not work,called them back and another woman said they could not deliver because my address did not come up on the post code, cancelled my subscription, if i dont get my money back, i will be visiting them. Do yourselves a favour go to currys they were very helpfull, ao are a complete shower of s##t

Here is an update to my poor 5 star Membership payment. I spoke with AO yesterday to try and find out why they had taken £39.99 without my permission. Well apparently its my fault several times over. Its my fault that their site doesn't show me to be a member. Its also my fault that the site does not show the date they are going to take the money. Its my fault the I did not ask them for my money back within 14 days of them taking it as my credit card statement is not issued till the end of the month. Its my fault for not remembering over a year ago that the small print says there is an automatic renewal and somehow its my fault that I didn't receive an email confirming the renewal at the end of June. I was told this by their rep over the phone as his account works very well and shows everything. Oh yes in case you are interested they are keeping my money though they have cancelled my membership. I can't believe company's like this can get away with such poor customer service.
