Keine Kulanz, keine Lösungsorientierung, nur Abzocke
Ein Auto gebucht über Auto Europe. Der Anbieter vor Ort (Drive on Holiday / Movida) erforderte eine Visa Karte. Meine Visa Debit Karte (die in Deutschland übliche Version) wurde nicht akzeptiert, auch wenn ich beim selben Anbieter im Jahr davor im selben Land mit derselben Karte ein Auto bekommen hatte, wie auch schon an Dutzenden anderen Orten mit Dutzenden anderen Anbietern. Ohne zusätzliche Versicherung (600 Euro, Auto kostet 250) wurde das Auto nicht herauszugeben. Den Fahrer zu ändern auf die Beifahrerin, die eine "richtige" Visakarte hatte, ging nicht. Die Buchung zu stornieren auch nicht - Ende vom Lied, kein Auto, keine Rückerstattung, aber ein neues Auto mit einem anderen Anbieter zu buchen war leider die günstigste Option. Keine Kulanz, kein Kundenservice nur ein "sie haben das mit der Visakarte so unterschrieben, Pech gehabt". Nie wieder!

AVOID!
AVOID!! I paid extra for total damage protection and breakdown service only to find that now I need to contact them to process my claim, there is no way of getting in touch! Just a well-presented site with a contact page which sends you round in circles and both Facebook and instagram pages which are ‘currently unavailable to respond’. Total scam.

Do not use Auto Europe
Do not use Auto Europe. They did not pass our flight details to the car hire company. We arrived on time but they were closed. When we went back the next day they said Auto Europe had not passed on our details so they did not know we were coming in at that time. We were charged for a weeks rental. They are awful if something goes wrong and do not have a customer support number. We are still waiting for the online claim to be dealt with. Do no use at any cost!!!

J'ai été facturé pour une location que le prestataire n'a pas voulu fournir. Après 30 jours, le service client ne répond ni aux mails, ni par l'intermédiaire du formulaire interne. Tous les numéros de téléphone affichés sont inactifs.

⭐ Why is there no option for ZERO or…
⭐ Why is there no option for ZERO or negative stars? AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Our experience with Auto Europe was absolutely unacceptable. It took them SIX WEEKS to respond, only for them to eventually come back with claims about circumstances that simply did not happen. What was even more frustrating was the complete lack of interest in properly considering our side as the customers. We felt unheard, dismissed, and left waiting for weeks rather than being treated fairly and professionally. When something goes wrong, that is when you discover the true quality of a company’s customer service. In our case, we experienced delays, excuses and an apparent unwillingness to seriously investigate what we were telling them. After this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding intermediaries and choosing a reputable local car rental company directly, with a professional website, transparent pricing, clear terms and one straightforward contract. Know exactly who you are dealing with, what you are paying for and who is responsible if something goes wrong. Saving a little money is simply not worth weeks of frustration and uncertainty. I would never use Auto Europe again and certainly cannot recommend them. Avoid at all costs.
