Absolute joke for jobs and payments.
Absolute joke for jobs and payments. I work both sides of the platform - as a creative who looks for clients and as someone who teams up and hires others. As a designer in the job portal, most of the jobs are unverified scams that waste your time. Empty profiles with no credibility or KYC involved. Or, clients that ghost and don't take a proposal seriously. Notably, things like number of revisions, legal and IP assignment, and fully fleshed out proposals bump up against word counts - meaning that you're flying unprotected in their "escrow setup" legally or even from a basic communications perspective in setting up a project. On the client side, the platform is wholly unfit to process payments. for example - behance cannot serve you with a basic invoice for services you pay for, because the freelancer is expected to do that. yet, behance takes money in between and doesn't concern itself with things like VAT or taxes. So I have a little screen shot of the "milestones" out of their UI, but no real legal receipt or invoice from Behance or from the freelancer that a job has been done. My accountant LOVES that. who would have thought the biggest creative platform was run by such a bunch of amateurs who had never looked at the basics of running a business before - let alone what the competition provides as basics in their software.

No human support
No longer gave an Adobe account, can no longer access my Behance account. They now fave access to ky data eithout being able to take it down. No human in sight to help.

I got scammed $500 on this trash…
I got scammed $500 on this trash platform. I reported the account, showed evidence, yet Behance does nothing. The account is still active. So, Behance is happy to serve up scammers to you. Clearly they have no screening mechanism to determine the legitimacy of their freelancers. I thought in paying $500 USD for my job that I would get quality. Boy was this an expensive lesson for me. See you in the small claims tribunal Behance. You should do more to protect your customers, instead, you don't seem to care.

Behance Manipulative customer support
Behance support closed my ticket as "Solved" without answering a single question. I asked why my projects receive zero impressions on their platform for years - no explanation was given. Instead of addressing the issue, the representative simply closed the case. This is manipulative and unacceptable customer service. I am complaining about the representative named Kat.

Extremely poor platform
As a professional designer who has used Adobe for over two decades, I opt for a Behance Pro. However, this is worse than Fiverr. An absolutely awful platform, as it was developed by someone who doesn't have a clue about the creative industry. Bad interface, no standardisation, fake "clients", cheap project requests, irrelevant briefs, ghosting, no responsibility whatsoever - a complete waste of time and a money rip-off. No way to get a refund!
