Absolut frustrierend.

I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to do at this point. I need some basic technical documentation / CAD data for several Behringer products (WING Compact, WING Rack, X AIR XR18 and X32 Compact) because I'm designing transport cases for them. Nothing particularly exotic — I just need accurate dimensions, mounting points, etc. So naturally, I tried contacting support. Four support tickets later, here we are. Every ticket appears to be successfully submitted and gets a ticket number. Great! Except I never receive a confirmation email. And, of course, without the confirmation email I can't check the ticket status. So I contacted their wonderful AI chatbot, Uli, to ask about it. I explained the problem. Uli's solution? "You can check the status of your ticket using the confirmation email." Yes, Uli. That's the problem. I DON'T GET THE DAMN EMAIL. I explained it again. Same answer. Again. Same answer. At this point I started wondering whether I was talking to an AI or just arguing with a particularly stubborn CAPTCHA. Eventually, Uli gave me an email address where I could supposedly contact support directly. I sent an email. It bounced back. 550 5.4.1 Recipient address rejected: Access denied. Fantastic. Before submitting my fourth ticket, I also created an account on the Music Tribe website using the same email address, because Uli told me that my support tickets should be available there. They're not. None of them. Not even the ticket I created AFTER registering the account. So, just to summarize: 4 support tickets 0 confirmation emails 0 replies 0 tickets visible in my account 1 support chatbot permanently stuck in a loop 1 email address provided by the chatbot that immediately bounced approximately one week of my life slowly disappearing into the Music Tribe support system And the funniest part? I'm not even asking for support with a broken product. I simply need some technical drawings or 3D models so I can design cases for their equipment. I genuinely can't imagine what this must be like for someone who actually depends on their equipment for work. If you're a musician and one of your Behringer products breaks and you need technical support quickly, you're apparently expected to enter the same support labyrinth I've been stuck in for the past week. Good luck. At this point, contacting Behringer support feels less like customer service and more like trying to complete a side quest designed by someone who actively hates the player. One star for the support experience. Would give zero if allowed it. 🗿

Bought a Deepmind 6x and struggled with a few things technically. Reached out via their bot on their website and was rapidly contacted by one of the most helpful and effective support people I've ever come across. (And that's not a small number). The gear is what it is. The website is quirky and has inconsistencies, but at this pricepoint I think it's remarkable and a bargain. (Have bought an audio mixer and Truth 4.5 monitors since. Very happy with both too).

I bought a QX1202USB mixer just over three years ago. It gets used as a practice mixer in my home. Roughly two to three times a week for about an hour each. It has never been gig used. Never at high volume level. With an acoustic guitar and mic. It just recently started making noise. Popping and crackeling then loud pop, lost channel two. Channel one had little volume and turning the channel volume made terrible noises. So I pulled it apart. Turns out several transistors burned out. On both channels one and two. Of course it's past warranty. Pretty sad performance. I have a four channel Peavey PA head that is twenty five years old. Still works fine. Bottom line, I am replacing the behringer junk with a Yamaha mixer. It would be different if I had played 300 gigs with it and it died. It would have paid for itself. But I never made a dime with it. Just glad I wasn't playing a gig and it died. The part people forget is sure the customer may say they understand and aren't mad you can't finish a gig. But as I've seen before, they are reluctant to hire you back again. Because you have second rate equipment. Do better behringer. Music tribe, or whoever. You can do well with TC Helicon products. Even Turbosound stuff isn't horrible.
