Arbeitsatmosphäre: It's an easy-going environment, with a lot of appreciation for employees and plenty of room for personal growth. There is a great sense of value and space to flourish. The relationships within my team are excellent—everyone is friendly, helpful, and there is a strong, supportive atmosphere. Gehalt/Sozialleistungen: The salary is competitive with the market. Kollegenzusammenhalt: The team spirit and cohesion among colleagues are one of the company's greatest strengths. In my experience, everyone is friendly, approachable, and always willing to help out. Vorgesetztenverhalten: In my experience, supervisors treat employees with respect and fairness, and there is a strong sense of mutual trust. They are transparent in their decision-making and are willing to listen to feedback or concerns. Kommunikation: In my experience, communication within the company is open, honest, and supportive. The leadership team is approachable, and there's a culture of transparency that helps build trust among employees. Interessante Aufgaben: The tasks and projects at the company are engaging and provide ample opportunities for learning and growth. Due to the dynamic nature of the e-commerce industry and the company's rapid growth, there is always something new and exciting to work on.

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich: some nice colleagues and dynamic environment Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich: no respect for the environment or workers Verbesserungsvorschläge: live by decent values and work on company culture and promotion philosophy Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich: Still a good work atmosphere between colleagues, but that is a sinking ship. Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich: BBG doesn't understand how much performance it can leverage out of its people, if it wants to. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Grow up! People do want to grow with you. It looks as though you have forgotten that if you take care of your people, they will take care of your business. Arbeitsatmosphäre: There used to be a vibrant atmosphere. But nowadays, the company is bleeding people and the good atmosphere is leaving with them. On a more positive note: the atmosphere hasn't turned bad yet, it's just absent at the moment. Work-Life-Balance: I myself have managed to maintain a healthy one, also thanks to my manager. But when I observe others: heavy workload and people leaving give me the impression of a systemic issue. Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein: The products, the business model and even the motto "make good design more accessible" follow the logic of consumerism at the cost of environment and potentially social conscience. While I understand that the company has been founded before climate change was generally know as an urgent topic, and a business model is very diffcult to change, some behaviours could be changed right now. For example: recruiting people not based in Berlin and have them fly in and out weekly Kollegenzusammenhalt: Same as atmosphere: used to be vibrant, but is being worsened by people quitting. Vorgesetztenverhalten: I have been lucky with my manager. But it's not the case for everybody. That depends on the manager. Arbeitsbedingungen: Overall okay, you do have everything you need to work. Kommunikation: When the leadership wants to talk about something, the communication is good in my view. But as an employee, I find the communication about critical aspects dissatisfactory : - salary - employee development : comminication is about the technichal aspects rather than the vision in my view - employee retention When there is a will, there is a way and vice versa. Gehalt/Sozialleistungen: Being loyal will cost you. Hires are at market rate, but one's salary will shrink over time compared to market value and cost of living. Unfairness between new and old team members, because new team members are hired at current market rate. The salary review process implemented in 2023 is in my view amateur at best, not worthy of a unicorn with 600+ employees. - no link with your performance review: both happen at separated times. Objective (non-)fullfillment is not objectively taken into account. - it is not a meeting with the employee himself. It is a recommendation by the employee's manager to the higher hierarchy, which may be followed or not. It is arbitrary at best. - All increases have been capped at 3% in 2023 - after two years of double digits inflation. It's a political action to say "there was a salary review" rather than actually perform one. - The communication beforehand about this new process has been amateur at best. All info above discovered afterhand, not beforehand. - I didn't see any communication about increases in 2024, leaving the impression there will not be any. Interessante Aufgaben: Very interesting in the beginning, but they become repetitve after a while (also related to no development/promotion). And that is provided your tools work, because technical solutions take too long to be implemented - frustrating.

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich: Young company that has had many changes as it grows, now very professional and on the right track to success. Verbesserungsvorschläge: We could have more benefits for the employees - such as Gympass or Urban Sports Club discounts - encourage more activity in the company. Arbeitsatmosphäre: The product team is a great team, everyone gets along very well and do a lot of activities together! Work-Life-Balance: 3 days in the office and reasonable workload Kollegenzusammenhalt: Colleagues are nice and easy to reach out to at any stage. Vorgesetztenverhalten: New CEO is really steering things in the right direction! Kommunikation: A lot of open and transparent communication Interessante Aufgaben: Diverse range of tasks that feel like you are contributing to the long term success of the company!
