Abby Meadow outdoor pool - a fabulous hidden gem
I had such a super swim on Friday morning at 8am at Abby Meadow open air pool in Abingdon. As I don’t live locally and hadn’t been to this pool before I wanted to leave a review as my all round review is ‘excellent’ The staff on reception spoke clearly and were courteous while explaining where the changing rooms were, lockers etc. This hidden gem needs highlighting as the experience of swimming outdoors cannot be emphasised enough especially as the pool is not enclosed as many outdoor pools are, plus being able to see the River Thames while swimming is an added bonus! The water was crystal clear and clean and the ropes tight so no waves which made swimming so easy and fast. The showers were lovely and warm and super fast and the cubicles and toilets clean. I will definitely be visiting again next summer when I have a day off and will do so as regularly as I can. Thank you to the whole team.

Make it easy for the eldery
Paying every month & can't get to book into the sitting exercise class .that is not very good. please help me to book in easily as l am 87 year old and this type of exercise is so important to me in keeping my independence through good physical health.

The club itself is spotless and very pleasant.
The first thing you notice is the staff’s attitude. Naomi assisted me during my first visit — she explained everything clearly, showed me around, and answered all my questions. I was genuinely impressed. The club itself is spotless and very pleasant.

There’s a zumba instructor called…
There’s a zumba instructor called SNEHA. She needs to learn how to treat members in her class. She is Rude and offensive and biased. She treats people of color differently than white people. Never going back to attend her zumba class. If people go to pee or even a minute late she would make them uncomfortable infront of whole class. Pathetic.
