Very happy to receive my bathroom units…
Very happy to receive my bathroom units with toilet and sink. All very well packaged and looked to be in excellent condition as expected. Plumber has just finished fitting it. Very pleased with my new look bathroom which has replaced my old cracked sink etc… But, very surprised and disappointed to find that the new toilet seat arrived well packed, but with damage. Seems that it was packed damaged - maybe by automatic packaging machine without any quality control. Have had to fit it, but I image the damage will allow water to get underneath the coating and create more damage and a place for gems to hide. ALSO The small black plastic fixings arrived Brocken. These are used to clip the toilet cistern panels onto the unit carcass. Obviously poor quality plastic without necessary strength for the job. Once again surprised and disappointed. Have managed to glue the broken plastics back together and fit the panels. Will definitely need to replace the toilet seat. Please advise.

Okay, but not great at all.
The bathroom unit sent is fine, there was a small damaged part but apparently I needed to open it within seven days in order to raise a complaint, that felt incredibly unfair as I was waiting for the plumber to start the project. The delivery arrived a day early with no warning, and the overflow on the ceramic is chrome while the taps ordered are brushed brass. No point calling their premium line, I tried that and was kept on hold for ages with no resolution.

★☆☆☆☆ Poor products and even poorer warranty handling. A fine crack appeared in our basin after less than a year of normal use. Better Bathrooms initially said their technical team had carefully reviewed the photographs and that the damage was “characteristic of external impact”. When I challenged that and asked them to identify the alleged impact point, they later changed their position and claimed the photographs were not clear enough to show the crack. Those statements directly contradict each other. The brushed-brass waste cover also deteriorated, exposing the silver-coloured metal beneath in under a year. We used only a light Tesco bathroom cleaner, rinsed immediately, and used the same routine on the other brass fittings, which remain intact. Despite this, Better Bathrooms simply claimed—without identifying any evidence—that chemicals had caused the damage. They repeatedly changed their explanation rather than properly investigating either issue, and ultimately refused both claims. Very disappointing quality and customer service. I would not buy from Better Bathrooms again.
