Black and Decker Junk and Poorer Customer Service
I purchased a Black and Decker blender and it malfunctioned with in 2 months. I applied for their warranty and sent everything they asked for. They asked for my original cash register receipt but I had lost it. I went to the retailer to get the sales information and they allowed me to screen shot their system as proof of my purchase. To make a long story short they told me no warranty without the cash register receipt even if I had store proof. The worst part is that I was told this would be the outcome before I even started. The Black and Decker products are very poor quality and their customer service is even worse. I recommend you do not purchase their products unless you are a gambler that likes to lose

Ho acquistato una levigatrice Black+Decker KA401 ma, purtroppo, dopo solo poche ore di lavoro si è rotta. Sconsiglio questo prodotto. In compenso, il personale del box informazioni OBI è stato molto gentile nel ritirare l'articolo. Alla fine ho deciso di acquistare un'altra marca.Le gambe che danno loscillazione dovrebbero essere realizzate in un materiale più resistente, non plastica per giocattoli.

Harrasment! I bought a air cooler in May 26,within 2 months of purchase,the cooler started leaking water. It's been a month since I made the complaint, technician turns up after 15 days. He fixed the issue & the subsequent day the leak started again. The technician has been promising to come every day for the past 10 days & does not show up till now. All kind of excuses related to weather, traffic, family,work. But no response! Apparently they only have 1 technician for a City size like Bangalore! Astonishing right .

Black and decker WM825
I have a black and decker workmate in my garden, it's quite old and the wood has all started swelling. So I ordered a new 1 being the workmate WM825 and I honestly can't believe how bad it is... The old 1 in my garden is solid. This new 1 is the wobbliest piece of trash iv ever seen. The boards on top move so much that you're forced to use it fully closed and in the smallest version possible otherwise you got no hope of keeping anything still. If you want to use the extended setup for the table then you need your own bit of wood to again clamp between it to make it solid otherwise the tops move all over the place... Worst thing iv ever had the misfortune of purchasing. I thought black and decker was a good make. Clearly them days are long gone

I always presumed that B&D were a good, solid make of product but wish that I had read these reviews before ordering my B&D hedge trimmer. My hedge trimmer was just within its two year warranty when it stopped working and so I contacted customer service. They replied and asked for further information which I supplied within a few hours of receiving the email. I received no response from my reply and emailed them a further three times. Several weeks later I have given up waiting for assistance. I have now bought a replacement hedge trimmer that is not B&D... My advice is, avoid Black and Decker, save your money and go for any other brand.
