The new type of scam
The packaging was great, but the actual item was extremely substandard. I fear this is a new type of scam now, where you contact the firm to express your disappointment and they give you half the value of the item as a refund, but then cite delivery costs and environmental impact if you want to fully return it. They still profit, as the item is made so cheaply in the first place. This was the case here. I took a chance, wore it on holiday and it fell to bits. Don't get suckered.

I am throughly disappointed
I am throughly disappointed. I was looking forward to receiving my order, it looks beautiful online. But, I never received my products, the company insists that it was delivered, but to whom? Not me. I have requested assistance from Brahmaki to locate where the package was delivered. I received a typed letter from Brahmaki on Fed Ex letterhead stating the city it was delivered to, but not my address. So, I requested a fraud investigation into the company. I’m very sad 😔

Terrible quality and unacceptable…
Terrible quality and unacceptable customer service I genuinely wanted to avoid writing this review because I share many of the values Brahmaki claims to stand for, particularly around sustainability. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. I purchased the Snowdrop trousers and matching maxi kaftan for around €400. When the order arrived, the stitching on the trousers was already coming apart, and the colour was noticeably different from the product photos. I contacted Brahmaki immediately. They offered either a return at my own expense — including international shipping and customs fees, meaning I would lose roughly €100 despite receiving defective clothing — or a 50% refund if I kept the set. I accepted the refund. At this point, I had not worn either garment. I put the defective trousers aside and later wore the kaftan for the first time. Within 30–60 minutes, the stitching started coming apart on that too, with the seam around the chest essentially tearing open. The kaftan was several sizes larger than my usual size and hung loosely on me, so this was absolutely not caused by it being too tight. I therefore received one garment that was already defective and another that became effectively unwearable within an hour of normal wear. When I requested the remaining amount refunded, Brahmaki refused because they had already issued the original 50% refund and instead offered me 20% off a future purchase. This makes no sense: when I accepted the 50% refund, I had no way of knowing that the second garment would also fall apart as soon as I wore it. Another member of customer service later asked me to send photos of the damage so they could review the situation. I sent them. I am now receiving no response. For clothing at this price point, the quality is honestly shocking. Clothes should not arrive with seams coming apart or start disintegrating within an hour of being worn. There is also very little that feels “sustainable” about selling expensive clothing that becomes unwearable almost immediately and then expecting the customer to absorb part of the financial loss. I am still hoping Brahmaki will take responsibility and refund the remaining amount, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from this company.

La robe magnifique
La robe est splendide , le tissus magnifique et la coupe parfaite . L’envoi est très soigné . J’ai eu un soucis de frais de douane inattendu mais le service client a été très réactif et a réglé le problème . J’ai fini par recevoir ma commande un peu plus tard que prévu mais honnêtement, ça valait la peine d’attendre , c’est vraiment une très belle pièce ! Je recommande cette société !
