Extremely unreliable experience with CarsRent Moldova
I contacted CarsRent approximately a week before arriving in Chisinau because I needed a 6–7 passenger vehicle from August 8 to August 26. Initially, nobody answered my calls from Canada. When I finally reached an employee, I was told that a 7-seat Audi Q7 was available. She said she would confirm everything and call or message me on WhatsApp. I never received that call or message. I had to repeatedly contact the company myself. At their request, I sent my driver’s licence and flight information so they knew exactly when I would arrive. They eventually confirmed receiving my information, and at no point did anyone warn me that the vehicle might not be available. Only shortly before my overnight flight did another employee tell me that they actually had no available 6–7 seat vehicle. After I complained, the employee apologized and told me that he had managed to find a 7-seat Volkswagen Atlas and asked whether it would work for me. By that time I was already on the plane. After landing, I saw the message and replied “Yes” at 4:37 AM. At 4:52 AM I told him that I had landed. At 5:14 AM I messaged again asking where I should wait and how I could get the vehicle. Later, I even offered to come to their office myself at 9 AM. They simply stopped responding. So after approximately a week of calls and WhatsApp messages, providing my driver’s licence and flight details, and finally being offered a specific Volkswagen Atlas, I arrived in Chisinau with my family after an overnight international flight and was left without a car and without any response from the company. I understand that cars can unexpectedly become unavailable. That can happen in any rental business. The problem is how the company handles it. A professional rental company informs the customer in advance and finds a solution — it does not simply stop communicating when the customer has already landed and is waiting for the vehicle. I have kept the complete WhatsApp conversation with timestamps. If you need a vehicle for a specific flight arrival, especially a 6–7 seat vehicle for a family, I strongly recommend having a backup plan if you decide to use this company. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CarsRent Moldova.

O mare țeapă la sosirea în aeroport! Evitați Carsrent.md!
Lipsă totală de profesionalism și respect! Am rezervat o mașină din timp, stabilind toate detaliile pe WhatsApp. Când am ajuns la aeroport, mașina NU a fost livrată.În loc să își asume responsabilitatea, nu mi s-a propus nicio mașină la schimb, iar ulterior NU au mai răspuns deloc la telefon, lăsându-mă blocat în aeroport la momentul sosirii. Nu vă ghidați după această firmă și nu vă încercați norocul dacă nu vreți să rămâneți pe drumuri și să căutați disperați soluții în terminal. Am încercat eu norocul cu ei și experiența a fost una foarte amară. Evitați cu orice preț, sunt complet neserioși!

Cei mai mincinoși de pe piață..
De doua ori am ajuns la aceasta companie la o diferenta de doi ani. A doua oara nu am stiut ca tot ei sunt pina cind nu am ajuns la sediul lor. In primul rind mi-au promis ca v-or aduce masina la Aeroport si eu v-oi pleca acasa de acolo. Prima data am comandat un Mercedes Viano, cind am ajuns la parcare la ei au zis ca e defect ca e service ca acum au aflat.A doua oara am comandat un GLE Mercedes si deasemenea pe drum mi-au zis ca imi dau un Q7 iar cind am ajuns la ei la parcare imi propuneau o Toyota Prius deoarece nici una din masinile pomenite anterior nu erau. Si aceeasi poveste ca numai ce sau stricat si leau dus in service. Fiti atenti si va sfatuiesc sa comandati masini de la SIXT sau dealerii autorizati,care intradevar se ocupa cu asa Business .. nu din astea care au 10 masini si amagesc clientii ca sau stricat..

Worst car rental!!!!!
I had a very bad experience with this company. I do not recommend it in any case!!! I had the agreement for a car, Jetta model 2020. For 13 days, the amount of €280 was calculated. I had the flight at night.. so a person met us at the airport.. even he was late, I have no claims to this. We went to their office, where I had to sign the rental contract. Here all started... the car that was expected, was probably given to someone else. So he proposed a Toyota Auris, said it's from 2018, very economical. I agreed, because I needed the car. He started with the questions about km/journeys.. This information is completely missing from the website…In the end, I agreed to pay an extra package, 4 lei/km, as it is 8 lei/km if not agreed. So the company allocates 100km/day. Respectively 13 days = 1300km. I took an additional 700km + 2800 lei. So a total of 2000km. After that, it started with the insurance.. that it must be done by the person renting the car..should be in my name, cause Insurances companies are strict when it’s coming to a rented car..And here I paid… so that the total amount came to €540, for a 2013 Toyota Auris, hit on the passenger side, with defective windshield wipers(no windshield liquid), the horn not working, with an expired technical inspection, without insurance… I will personally file an online complaint with Consumer Protection and I urge everyone who had business with these individuals to do the same. These individuals must be severely punished for what they do!
