AVOID AT ALL COSTS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS This was an absolute shambles from start to finish. I booked this place at a higher price and further out of city because it said there was parking available. There wasn't actually any parking - after I had paid for the room, I was told would be £15 per night, but that there was none available - awful. I also wasn't told there would be a £100 security deposit to be paid either. Coupled with that, I wasn't even able to get my car close to the acomodation to offload my things. And that's just the start of it all going wrong! When I arrived, there as no check in process, no email sent to me, I just had to work it our for myself. At this point I didn't even have a full address, just a street name in Cambridge. No building or apartment number to head to. So, after walking nearly a mile around all the buildings and spending an hour on the phone, they finally worked out that the property management guys had just left the apartment open with the keys (fob) inside for me to check myself in - I had been called earlier to ask me to check in as they wanted to go home!! I was having lunch in Cambridge at this point, Check in was after 15:00. Now leaving the key fob in the apartment for me to collect would have been fine, had I known where the apartment actually was, oh and there is also the rather glaringly obvious issue that they hadn't thought about - the key fob that they had left inside the apartment for me to collect was needed to open the gate and the building boors to be able to get in to the building, so I locked outside! Back on the phone again.... When I finally got in to the apartment, an hour after I had arrived (and rather annoyed at this point) it was actually a lovely place (apart from all the plates and cutlery, etc. all still being dirty and in the dishwasher rather than clean and back in the cupboards as you'd expect). A very nice apartment. The story continues.... Guess what? When I went to check out, I had exactly the same amount of hassle. There was nobody at the front desk to receive the key fob (as I as instructed to do in the email that I received long after I had checked in), so I again had to call and spend 20+ mins on the phone, just to work out a solution. In the end I just had to leave the fob on the desk and leave (I took a photo too, what with the unexpected £100 security deposit now being at risk) I feel really sorry for the property owner. The apartment itself was lovely,warm, comfortable and quiet. But the management company that are handling the people visiting are just awful (those in the building, not the guys on the phone who were actually lovely) If I were you, I'd chose somewhere else. I'll save you hours and a lot of stress.

Checkin was awful
Checkin was awful. Your automated check in process doesn't work, and I lost hours with your support trying to sort it. Once in, the water didn't work. The arrival instructions mentioned that the guide to turn it back on would be in the room, but that wasn't the case and I had to work it out myself. Also the soap dispensers had run out. Generally pretty rubbish considering the cost!
