Unbelievably bad experience with Chase. I applied for a credit card, got denied for lack of existing relationship with Chase—okay, fine. Called reconsideration and was advised to open a checking account in order to be reconsidered. Did so in person at the branch, set up direct deposit/Zelle/etc. Credit card was still denied—fine. Then while waiting for my debit card to be shipped, the checking account was abruptly closed and I got many notifications and fraud alerts about my Zelle being unenrolled, my card being deleted from Apple Pay, etc. I'm now having to try to get my direct deposit adjusted before my next paycheck. What is frustrating about this process is that no system or representative has all the information. Why am I able to open an account only for it to be closed one day later? Why am I getting electronic fraud alerts telling me to call, only to find that these are due to my account being closed based on an internal Chase decision, with the reason sent by snail mail? If Chase doesn't want my business despite my excellent credit score and savings, that's fine. But to have to scramble for information after following advice that THEY GAVE ME is unbelievably frustrating and stressful. I will never attempt to bank with Chase again.

I’ve been a client of Chase Bank for just under 40 years. I have a large some of money in my accounts. They’ve taken Saphire Checking away. To top that off. When I took my ex husband off my account they sent me a new ATM card with a cap on withdrawal of 800 or less. For years I’ve been able to withdraw $3,000 from a Chase ATM. When Chase keeps me from my own money on the weekends. I’m done. If I have to spread my money over several banks to be able to access it then I guess that’s what I’m gonna do. For Chase to change my withdrawal limit with no explanation other than that’s how it’s always been. No Chase. It’s not. It just started in February. And have the audacity for me to put $500,000 and they will graciously allow me to take $3,000 from an ATM. Hysterical. It’s my money!!! Why would I put half a mil in your worthless accounts. Not to mention the hours of my life I have in their terrible customer service. Today I spent an hour of my life for customer service to take an email off my account that did not show up on my log in. Only at their ATM. So for 7 months every transaction I did with my debit card my ex husband got an email. His email NEVER showed up on my online accounts. He also was NEVER the primary on these accounts.

Went into a newly built Chase Bank..I needed setting up the app. As Im not computer literate. Met a nice employee named Mosses..He started helping me and told me I had a third card with Chase and I wanted it removed. Well all the sudden he had appointment and more less scooted me out. There was no one in the lobby...Learn to respect I'm 72 not a child. If your gonna be lier be a good one!

Spoke with someone from Mumbai, India who was able to pull my home loan account up with just my name and address, then sent me to another department to make the payment (for some reason). Said they'd have all my home loan account information up and not have to worry about repeating myself. I was on hold for TWENTY THREE minutes and the next guy that answered, also in Mumbai, India, asked me for all of my information again and kept saying I had to provide my full social security number. I explained I did not feel comfortable doing that, so he kept demanding until I said "Guess I'm not paying my mortgage, then." He sent me to an automated payment system which was simply the same process of being on hold for 20+ minutes so I requested a call back. Lady, from Mumbai, India, called me and listened to my frustration and said she would help me out. Took my information, again, and then after all that, said she was going to transfer me to someone who can help make my payment. I said this is ridiculous you're putting me through the SAME horrible experience, and then, MAGICALLY, she said she could make my payment. No thanks. This company is trash. We'll be seeing them on the news in less than a year.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
