Went in to see my favorite employee and…
Went in to see my favorite employee and she started crying because of all the stress this company had put her under, and this wasn’t the first time I saw one of their employees in tears over there. Threatening her job if she didn’t come in to work while she had a health problem. They treat their employees awful. I wasn’t going to say anything to respect this employee, but after seeing her in the state she was in I had to say something. They make 16 year olds pierce babies after only 3 days of training. We went in with my sister to get her 2 year old’s ear pierced and a high schooler was waiting to pierce her!! What on earth? We cancelled the appointment and left. Store Managers are overworked and under paid. District Managers are cruel to the store managers and expect them to act the same way with their employees. No accommodations are offered. You work alone for 4-6 hours so you’ll have to hold it if you need to use the restrooms. They pressure their employees to sell or risk their jobs. I have been a long time customer until I heard several horror stories about them. I have no idea how this company is still in business.

Prestation piercing ZERO!
Le 27/08/2026, au Claire's de Plaisir (78) ma fille s'est fait piercer le nez. Piercer est un grand mot, elle s'est fait trouer le nez... le piercing a été planté comme un clou (bien qu'il ai été posé au pistolet). En effet la tige ne ressortait pas dans la narine, seule une bosse apparaissait à l'intérieur. Les conseils ont été soigneusement respectés (désinfecter matin et soir, mettre un sparadrap sur le piercing pour dormir, "si tu t'apercois que tu as perdu ton piercing remplaçe le avec une boucle d'oreille"...). Le piercing ne restait pas en place, il cherchait systématiquement à sortir. Ce matin en enfilant un vêtement, le piercing est tombé, ne le retrouvant pas, il a été remplacé, comme conseillé. Nous nous sommes rendues chez un pierceur. Scandalisée du "travail" réalisé, il nous a été vivement conseillé de le retirer. Ce dernier ayant "planté", il était impératif d'empêcher la cicatrisation de la chaire autour du bijoux. Les conseils post pose étaient complètement différents: le toucher au minimum, se laver le visage au savon (ph neutre), utiliser des spray nasaux en interne, du serum phy en externe... Conclusion: je ne recommande pas du tout, il y a de très bons pierceurs avec des prix TRÈS aboradables (moitié moins cher)! Je pense très objectivement qu'un remboursement serait des plus attendus
