Disgusting company
Sadly I can’t give lower clerical medical have allocated my pension to someone else I have all her details which they kindly gave me breaking every GPDR rule. They never return my calls and just fob me off it’s absolutely disgusting how how they treat people

Whilst the staff are undoubtedly…
Whilst the staff are undoubtedly polite empathetic and understanding and mostly lovely, the systems they are operating under are seemingly archaic . It takes me forever usually, and maybe this time round not at all, to get simple written/emailed responses as requested and agreed by phone.

Complacent uncaring and yestrderday’s arrogance
Stunningly arrogant, uncaring and unhelpful . Utterly complacent. I contacted them regarding my son’s pension last year. We opted out and moved him to pension Bee and Nest who are excellent. Clerical medical used to be the well known reliable pensions company. I don’t have my son’s reference number. I think they reckon it’s 1960 not 2026) The contrast with my son’s current provider is stunning with clear options and instructions on line with a helpful call centre. Clerical medical on the other hand insisted on ID production to shift his money out face to face in Lloyds bank. We went to Lloyds bank and they said they no longer accept ID. We were livid. Clerical medical again were totally unhelpful offering no easy alternative. Way out of date and snobby. Displayed a vast array of investments on various PDFs we were told weren’t available.

Terrible service
I wouldn’t even give 1*,I am disgusted with the way I have been treated. They decided to suspend my payment without notification, 9 days later I am still waiting even though they now say it was released 2 days ago, I have spent at least an hour a day trying to get it resolved, I am just quoted policy this and policy that and my complaint will be handled once it has been allocated to a complaints manager within 8 weeks. Disgusting company. If I can get my money out I will be doing. They don’t deserve to have it. And I bet they don’t respond to this either. Just an update, if you Google the ceo of clerical medical it gives you his email address. Email him. I did this morning at 7.15, 15.15 I got a phone call from an actual complaints manager who said that because I had emailed the ceo my complaint had now become an executive complaint and had to be dealt with quickly. My complaint has now been settled, well we will see if promises are carried out but I have an actual phone number and email address of the manager that rang me. Good luck

Please don't go anywhere near this company
I believe this awful company has a strategy to delay payments, I've cancelled a policy with them, heard nothing for a month, I wrote to complain and was rewarded with a letter saying they will investigate the matter and get back to me in 2 months. Shocking customer service.
