They Killed Their Own Product After…
They Killed Their Own Product After Merging With CoinDesk I used CryptoCompare's API for years to power my crypto exchange platform (Pool4Ever). It was reliable, generous, and developer-friendly. Then came the CoinDesk merger — and everything went downhill fast. They dropped the free tier from 250,000 API calls/month to 11,000. That's not a "tier" — that's a joke. At 1 call per minute, you hit the limit in 10 days. Ten. Days. And if you want to upgrade? Good luck finding the price. Their paid plans have NO pricing listed on the website. You have to contact sales like it's 1999. That's not transparency — that's a trap. I've already moved my entire platform to Binance and Kraken public APIs. Free, unlimited, no games. Should have done it sooner. CryptoCompare used to be the go-to for crypto developers. Now it's a cautionary tale about what happens when a media company acquires a developer tool and has no idea what developers actually need. Avoid. There are better free alternatives and they don't treat you like a cash cow.

Big time scammers
Big time scammers. They lure you saying it is a easy and simple task and do not talk about trading initially. This time round they said it is YouTube tasks where you have to subscribe and you get to start earning. But. When you get to withdraw what they say you made then they put their rules saying you have to trade in bitcoins. They make you invest and guarantee you returns. This vicious cycle goes on and more money goes on stake and then if you loose they say you cannot withdraw the money they said you made till you get a profit from the trade. Seems like they have decoy players too. Do not ever trust them.

Cryptocompare.com acquisition by Coindesk
Recently Coindesk acquired Cryptocompare.com, which was great system for modelling your virtual portfolios. They obviously bought the company to milk it dry. CD don’t respond on messages and their money hungry attitude will make Cryptocompare after so many years completely useless.
