Don't waste your money on this useless…

Don't waste your money on this useless piece of tech👎. Since Fitbit sold out to Google the device no longer works as it should. Inaccurate pulse readings and step counts etc. I specifically purchased the Charge 5 because it had an ECG app that you could download. It worked perfectly well and I could download a reading even if the result was inconclusive so that I or my healthcare professional could interpret and monitor. Since transfer to Google health it just crashes or will not let me download any arrythmias it can't interpret apart from AF. I have never expected or want a device with a single lead to diagnose my heart rhythm all I want is to be able to download a reading which I was always able to do before. Tried contacting customer service countless times which is useless tbh. Just keep getting fobbed off or the same complaint keeps getting refreshed as a new issue! Absolutely appalling service from Google and Fitbit

Fitbit absolutely rubbish under Google app

Fitbit was great under the old Fitbit app. Now it's gone over to Google it's absolutely rubbish. It stopped work properly after took over the app. It doesn't measure sleep properly, it's rubbish at checking your heart rate. Very colourful but the accuracy seems to have taken a back seat. They make it all about getting more cash and upgrading the app. So to basically sum it up if you are thinking of buying one look for another product if you want it to work as a health check. If you want one that does lots of things not very well, this is the product for you. I write this as I have had one for the last ten years starting with a 2 then 2x4 then 2x6. Would not buy another one. Rate it as absolutely crap now. Thanks Google.

GOOGLE!!!! BRING BACK THE CLASSIC FITBIT UI AND FEATURES NOW!!!

I rarely leave reviews, but this forced Fitbit-to-Google change warrants venting. While the old UI had its quirks, the new one is so bad I'm considering getting a different smartwatch just to escape it. A health-improvement app shouldn't increase my blood pressure! 1. The Food Logging (A Steaming Dumpster Fire)Did you do any user testing before releasing this disaster?Mandatory Meal Times: Why demand the exact time of my meal? WTF? I just want to log what meal it was. I've been entering the current time as a workaround, but I refuse to track precise historical hours. Vanishing Categories: Old Fitbit had 7 snack/meal breakdowns. Now it's reduced to 4, trapping 3 different snack slots into a single, useless "Other" category. Clunky Food Entry: You replaced simple radio buttons with a buggy drop-down. Furthermore, once you enter food, you cannot change the serving type without deleting and re-entering it entirely. Insane Recent/Shortcut Logic: Trying to add from "recent" items is madness. Click on "2 large boiled eggs" from your history, and it defaults back to "1 medium egg." The little plus sign shortcut doesn't help—it just logs random defaults directly to "Other." Is this a Dilbert cartoon? Broken Custom Meals: Taking away the web dashboard was bad enough, but custom meals now do nothing. I can no longer add my frequent meals with one click. I have to add all 5 vegetables from my lunch one by one, every single time. The Sainsbury's Ham Incident: With no "Quick Calories" option left, you are forced to use a buggy search or a barcode scanner. If the database details are wrong, you can't edit them. My favourite example: adding 4 slices of honey roast ham from Sainsbury's. It showed 96 cals, 16g protein... and 382g of fat! There isn't 382g of HAM in 4 slices of ham. Computer says no! I had to message my PT saying, "Ignore fat stats, Google Health has lost its mind." Syncing Workarounds: Importing from apps like NutraCheck forces all data into "Other" and takes a random, delayed amount of time to sync. 2. Ruined Reporting: Legacy Fitbit had a brilliant graph showing calories in vs. calories out for the day and week. Now, you can see expenditure and intake separately, but never on the same chart. Why take away the one metric I actually need? The home page also fails to navigate easily to previous days' overviews. 3. Calorie & Macro Target Extravaganza: I don't want a forced calorie target range; I just want to see expenditure vs. intake. Worse, macro targets are broken. I set my protein target to 100g, but the UI displays it as 90g. If I want it to show 104g, I have to input 115g. Why display a forced +/- 10% variance? Just show the target! 4. Clunkiest UI Layout Ever! Why must I delete all tiles just to reorder them? Is this 1995? Drag-and-drop was effortless before. You also limit what can be shown in the main circle, hiding the daily calories burnt focus, and fractured the interface into separate, tedious tabs. For all these reasons, I'm giving Google Health a 1*. I'd give it a zero if I could! To be fair, the new UI does have a couple of teeny redeeming qualities, which does justify the 1*, namely: a) Having a week-long macro overview is brilliant and very helpful as I can easily check whether I'm hitting my protein target across the week b) Menstrual cycle health details has mildly improved as you can see period predictions again (but can't delve into stats anymore like you could in an older version of Fitbit UI). Honestly though, Google, be better! This awkward, frustrating app makes me want to stab my eyes out whenever I use it and I wonder how you even got this design! Was it tested? I work in QA and would happily log all these points as detailed bugs with repro steps for you if that meant you'd fix them and make an app that wasn't a flaming pile of garbage. Alternatively, just save yourselves the trouble and roll back to the legacy UI (or give us the option to choose to do so!) which didn't feel like using it was a training exercise of life in a mental asylum. This mess is tanking your reputation as a tech giant. A grad with a laptop could probably code this better in a day if they bothered to consult users on what they wanted.

Do not waste your money on this

Do not waste your money on this, ever since the change to google health its gone terribe you have to constantly check it and re sync it (this doesnt work either as you need to restart the app multiple times) to check your steps One minute youve done 5431 steps you check again and your down to 4000 steps

After months of inaccurate readings!

After months of inaccurate readings I have taken my inspire 2 fitbit off and have given up on it. The google health app is rubbish and not fit for purpose. This is my 3rd fitbit and to be honest I loved fitbits when on their own app. I'm disappointed to say the least!
