Be careful of this merchant - Information on their website is false and misleading
Be careful of this merchant. Their stock and shipping status is false and misleading. As opposed to their - to be appeared - established company across 5 continents, they seem to be a one-two man online shop without any proper logistic and inventory handling process. As soon as you place an order, you will be locked in a vicious circle of delay, promise, delay .. with no tangible outcome. I had to issue a formal and legal chargeback request against them to dispute the entire purchase and recover my payment through my company bank following days of no-delivery, no-dispatch , no-update, and in-progress situation.

I specifically chose CortenPlus because they offered FedEx Express 24-hour delivery, and I paid extra for this shipping option. Three days after placing my order, it still has not been dispatched, and they are unable to tell me when it will be. I repeatedly asked customer service either: to refund the Express shipping fee if the order was dispatched, or to cancel my order if it had still not been dispatched. They refused to do either. Instead, I keep receiving the same generic, copy-and-paste responses without any of my specific questions being answered. First, I was told that my order could not be cancelled because it was already being prepared for shipment. Later, I was told that there were delays with the carrier, which meant my order could not be dispatched yet. At the same time, they continued to insist that the order could not be cancelled, even though it still had not been shipped. Customer service completely ignores my specific questions and requests, responding only with generic template replies. I have now contacted my bank to explore the possibility of stopping the transaction before the payment is captured. I can definately NOT recommend this company!!!!

J'ai acheté chez CORTEN (via mon entrepreneur CARIO de Dinant) des éléments de murs de soutènement en mars et en nom propre deux petits bassins ronds en avril un fixateur de rouille en juillet. Les éléments courbes étaient pré-rouillés, les éléments droits ne l'étaient pas encore. Après 4 mois, ils commencent très très légèrement seulement, ce qui est décevant. Les petits bassins rouillent très bien. Le fixateur de rouille est présenté est extrêmement liquide et , après 8 couches appliquées suivant vos directives, la rouille sur les bassins n'est toujours pas vraiument fixée. Décevant.

Avoid this company. Our experience has been extremely disappointing. We placed an order on 10 July and paid over £500. At the time of purchase, Corten+'s shipping policy stated: "Delivery times never exceed 5 days, no matter where you want the item delivered." When no delivery or meaningful tracking information was provided, we began emailing the company on 18 July requesting updates. Their online tracking system was of no use, and despite numerous emails, we received little more than repeated requests to "please be patient" and what appeared to be continual delaying tactics. As the delays continued, we requested that a replacement order be dispatched using their advertised 24-hour delivery service. Instead of resolving the issue, we encountered further delays, ignored emails, and no clear explanation of what had happened to our original order. Eventually, we received a notification from DHL stating that delivery was expected on 30 July—a full 20 days after placing the order, assuming it arrives as scheduled. This is completely at odds with the company's advertised maximum delivery time of five days. Adding to our concerns, every telephone number we could find for the company was either invalid, went unanswered, or disconnected the call, leaving email as the only means of communication—and even then, responses were slow and unhelpful. At the time of writing, we have still not received the product, our construction project has been delayed, and we have been given no meaningful reassurance or resolution. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. If delays occur, customers deserve honest communication, accurate delivery estimates, and accessible customer support. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things. I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from Corten+ to read recent customer reviews carefully before committing to a purchase.
