Just waxed 2 chains using the…
Just waxed 2 chains using the Performance Wax Kit after using a competitor for a couple of years. Amazing improvement in waxing! Much easier, especially with multiple chains. The response of the Cyclowax team to questions and dealing with FedEx-caused issues is world class. Kudos to Lucy and Jacob.

Lack of customer service
I ordered a new waxing kit in March. After 4 and a half months of continued assurances that "my order will be shipped next week" and being told that the hold up was with US customs, I finally got something saying that my order was going to be shipped from Belgium (the earlier emails indicated otherwise). Now I get a message from FedEx that the wrong information was supplied for shipping and they are holding my shipment. To top things off, Cyclowax will not respond to any emails from either myself or FedEx. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys. If I could of given zero stars I would have rated them that way.

Bestellung nicht geliefert – Rückerstattung lässt auf sich warten
Ich habe dort ein Wachsset für mein Fahrrad bestellt. Laut Internetseite sollten die Produkte innerhalb von 3–5 Werktagen versandfertig sein. Leider wurde diese Angabe bei meiner Bestellung nicht eingehalten. Nach einer Woche habe ich nach dem Status meiner Bestellung gefragt. Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Ware „bald“ versendet werde. Eine weitere Woche später habe ich erneut nachgefragt und die Antwort erhalten, dass der Versand priorisiert werde. Leider ist auch danach eine weitere Woche vergangen, ohne dass die Ware versendet wurde. Daraufhin habe ich die Bestellung storniert. Die Stornierung wurde mir schriftlich bestätigt und ebenfalls, dass der bereits gezahlte Betrag erstattet wird. Inzwischen warte ich jedoch auch schon wieder über eine Woche auf die Rückerstattung. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Ablauf sehr unzufrieden. Die Kommunikation war zwar vorhanden, aber die wiederholten Zusagen wurden nicht eingehalten und auch die Rückerstattung lässt auf sich warten.

Product is great - long delivery but starting difficulties which will normalise I’m assured.
Ordered the Performance Wax Kit in the first half of April with a scheduled delivery in July. Mid July I wrote to Cyclowax customer service as I hadn’t heard anything and as the bad reviews were mounting it had me worried if something was seriously wrong. I got a polite but rather standardised reply from Lucy stating that April orders would start shipping in late July and indeed they did (shipped 3/8-2026). The product is really good and ever so easy to use . Wind the chains on the spools and put them into the wax. The excess wax, which isn’t a lot, is easily worked off in my case presently on the plastic bin handle but I have been meaning to make something more bespoke.

Add me to the list of disappointed waxers. Order #16398 was placed on March 16 after seeing the system on GCN. I've been waxing for 8 years starting with a crock pot and homemade wax compound. Have the SILCA system but I maintain tandems so thought the chain holder would be easier to use with the tandem timing chains. Been getting the run-around for 2 months now. Recently Lucy (mentioned by others) ghosted me. Copied the CEO Jacob on last message as he claims to answer all his e-mail personally on LinkedIn. I copied him primarily because I wanted to say how terrible it is that he puts his staff in the position of telling falsehoods. This is not how a company treats its most valuable resource. How does he manage the rest of his company? I have initiated a chargeback claim but because my credit card was charged more that 60 days ago, it was a bit more effort.
