My favourite aspect of the retreat was…
My favourite aspect of the retreat was the overall feeling of ease and quality across several elements coming together. The food was exceptional and I loved the opportunity to properly relax. The other guests were a highlight as well. It felt like a very well-aligned group of people. Several team members really stood out to me in a very positive way: Hitesh – He brought a consistently warm and welcoming energy throughout the retreat. He was always present, approachable, and eager to help, particularly during the yoga sessions. His friendliness and attentiveness made a big difference to the overall atmosphere. Dr. Pallavi – She was overall really lovely and grounded in her approach. I felt comfortable in her presence, and she contributed to the sense of care and ease within the experience. Also, her art therapy sessions were a highlight for me. She offered thoughtful insights and created a space that felt both engaging and meaningful. Her energy was very calming and supportive. Asia – Was fantastic. Beyond leading the kitchen and delivering consistently beautiful meals, she was incredibly open and generous with her knowledge. She took the time to answer questions and share insights about the food, which added a valuable educational layer to the experience. Overall, I found the experience really special and very aligned with what you’re building. There’s a strong sense of authenticity, care, and intention that comes through across the retreat, and that’s something I really value.

Incredible experience – I will be back!
My favourite aspect of the retreat was actually being alone – no distractions, just my own thoughts. The staff were outstanding as well and especially Suyash & Hitesh were incredible (the whole team was). They took care and patience in understanding my needs, when I didn't even know what they were. They both are such calming presences and I felt comfortable opening up to them and taking advice from them.

The Experience
The yoga, treatments and the evening practice were my favourite aspects of the retreat and I was very satisfied with the whole team. It seems to me that the offer at Datu is complete.

Datu, a second visit
Having returned to Datu a second time, there could be so many things to list as a favourite but the new location made it even more special and everyone from the Datu team I had contact with were wonderful and so dedicated. It is a magical week of retreat from daily life, learning and reconnecting with your self.

Truly a unique experience you won't regret
I really appreciated the opportunity to step into something quite different from my usual pace, and to experience the environment you’ve created. There’s a genuine sense of intention behind Datu, and it’s clear how much thought has gone into bringing together the right people, practices and space. I especially valued the chance to learn from your Gurus and to spend time simply being, which isn’t something we often give ourselves.
