Terrible customer support and product quality at premium price. Products are very functional however quality of the materials is way below average. Customer support is another story, haven’t experienced such treatment since beginning of e-commerce. Definitely would not recommend.

I bought the Ramverk Pro Carry-on BlackOut (RRP €599) in May 2026. After roughly ten weeks, I caught a doorframe while walking through it and a metal fitting on the webbing sheared off. The damage was clearly my own fault, and I never filed a warranty claim. How it went with customer service: I asked to buy the replacement part. Answer: not in the spare parts range. I asked whether Db would carry out the repair at my own cost. Answer: no — neither as a warranty nor as a paid repair, as their repair partner has no access to the component. I then asked only for the technical specification, so an independent workshop could source an equivalent fitting. Answer: not possible, "proprietary information." All of this is in writing. In their final reply, Db confirmed in writing that they do not make spare parts available for individual sale or to support third-party repairs. Not that this particular part was out of stock — that no parts are made available at all. What bothers me is not the damage — I caused it. It is the gap between that policy and the company's own communication. Db markets the product with "Built to last. Ready to repair.", lists webbing strap issues on its repairs page as a typical repair case, and states in its European terms that damage not covered by the warranty can be repaired at a pre-agreed price. None of it applied here. Every reply explained why the warranty did not cover the damage — a claim I never made and repeatedly said I was not making. The result: an otherwise fully intact €599 travel case, ten weeks old, that cannot be restored because of a fitting worth a few euros — not even at my own expense. The build quality itself is good, which is why this is not a one-star review. But anyone considering this price bracket should know: in my experience, anything outside the warranty means the end of the product. Support was consistently polite and quick to respond. It does not change the outcome.

Customer support is the worst. They don't have communications at all. I orderes 2 items but only receive one. Contacted the support. But just chatting with an AI generated response confirmed the missing item and said they will send it however they send a wrong one. Asking me to return the wrong before they ship the right item. Sad thing is Im looking forward using the backpack on my summer holiday but never had the chance to use it. Very disappointing experience.

I bought the Ramverk Aluminium (Erling Haaland Edition) because I wanted a premium suitcase that could withstand years of travel. At around 1.000 USD, it certainly isn't cheap, so I expected both outstanding quality and great customer support if anything went wrong. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the very first trip. I travelled from Denmark to Italy using the protective flight bag that came with the suitcase. When I collected my luggage, the flight bag had disappeared and the suitcase was in a horrible condition. After just one 2 hour flight, it was covered in scratches, scuffs, dents and even blue marks. It genuinely looked like a suitcase that had been through years of travel rather than a single journey. I then contacted DB Journey, hoping they would be able to help. Their customer support replied quickly and was polite, but the outcome was extremely disappointing. I was told that because the damage occurred during air travel, it is 'not covered under their lifetime warranty', they 'do not offer repairs' for this type of damage, and they were 'unable to replace the missing flight bag' because they don't have it available as a spare part which I think is horrendous and quite laughable. The suitcase is branded as 'lifetime warranty', yet when it suffers damage during its intended use - travelling by plane - there is effectively no support available. I wasn't asking for a brand-new suitcase, but I expected some kind of repair option, replacement part or goodwill solution, especially considering the price. For a product in this price range, I expected much more. While the customer service was friendly, the overall experience has left me deeply disappointed, and unfortunately I cannot recommend this suitcase at all.

I bought a Db backpack expecting premium quality and durability. After just one day of normal use, the seam had already come apart. That is simply unacceptable for a product in this price range. My impression is that you’re paying for branding rather than quality. This was my first Db product, and it will also be my last.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
