MultiPOS is far more powerful than most realize, especially if you’re running a multi-vendor or hybrid online + in-store operation. My wife and I have used multiple POS systems in our journey, so here’s our real-world perspective. Shopify POS Requires Shopify + POS Pro subscription Monthly fees per location No multi-vendor marketplace support Limited customization Vendor POS impossible without expensive custom development Clover POS Expensive proprietary hardware Recurring payments Closed app ecosystem No vendor-level segregation Hard to integrate with WooCommerce MultiPOS One-time license Vendor-level POS terminals Fully customizable You own your data, hosting, and hardware Runs on any device Works perfectly with WCFM Multivendor No “per location” cost Stripe WisePOS E compatible through WooCommerce gateways For marketplace owners, MultiPOS is on a completely different level. Marketplace platforms like Shopify, Clover, Square, and Toast charge far more. With MultiPOS + WCFM + WordPress, we control the pricing, not the POS company. As a marketplace and brick and motor business owner who have used some of the major POS ecosystems, we can say that MultiPOS is one of the most underrated tools in the entire WooCommerce ecosystem. It deserves far more recognition and sales than it currently shows. If you are operating a multi-vendor marketplace, hybrid retail store, or multi-location business, MultiPOS is absolutely worth the investment and the time to fully understand it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I highly recommend it. This plugin allowed us to modernize our entire in-person + online operation with full ownership and flexibility. We currently working on using it for our nonprofit organization which currently also has one brick and motor location with plans to expand to other locations.
