Here is a my experience after 8 Years. When i was started the game was on lv 45lv Many monsters, many maps for exploration even items are avalaible to obtain by effort no by cash or waiting for exclusive event. Anyway move on the topic. The game was amazing, after my back on the Dark Legacy all of them goes into money. Most of cheaters still allowed to use their programs, even sell their accounts. To disporse of them, they practicly start to fight with community, their discord was so toxic even ban me for no reason, later send only informations into discord to promote their status, but it failed,mostly the one source of information was their official forum with helpfull mods. But all of them are gone they are now, just send only the deley informations, when it comes for patch notes etc. Most of community start being isolated, since their policy were about not polishing of the players but keep them as long is valueable. My account was also deleted, so have no regrets of posting the truth and leave my energetic feedback. So move the topic,In the end of this unnessesery fight, company leave to fight with each others from community to show them who is better. They move to use one set to stay better, delete their past story to limit gain of achievements; because later they add special progress bars based on achievements, which most of them possible only if you play their events. Some of them are really waste of time so in order to save time they push wallet of the players to gain their rewards. Now they push into bundles their policy never change but attitute of the players yeah it is the same as before even send pleasefull posts. After that i lost a goal, point of the game, goes only for pointless grind since all of the jewells lost value. Were also limited by low drop which i never gonna count how many times have to spend to get one. Thats is all what to sum up. The events are create for great rewards but decreased of progress in order to pay. Or Limited rewards but fast of progress. It looks fun indeed untill not came the achievements. Ah yeah 3 years asking of the dark legacy to change pvp mode. Instead what we got? 1 shot enemy + random pvp based on timeline. So 2 stars are deserved perfectly compare to diablo 4? Please watch closely and tell me that is what you search for. Did i recommended to enter this game after of this unique expierience? Yes, if you have a lot of time, money and brain to use your time efficient. No, If you search for grind, because what is stand for is a boring bloodchest farm[The one which exchange a smugglers based on policy], which requirement of the groups, and optimal stats to get them perfectly. But without people? Forget about it, thats how it works multiplayer games. Past is the past, never return, But future is always open and could be better.

The game used to be fun, but now it’s pure pay-to-win. Without spending money you can’t progress or compete. Feels like a cash grab instead of a real game. Very disappointed.

Drakensang is technically free to…
Drakensang is technically free to download, but in my experience, that is just an illusion. The core gameplay loop itself is completely repetitive—every single quest and event boils down to the exact same routine: clear the map, kill enemies, and collect a required amount of items over and over again. On top of that, the game restricts you at every turn, even charging in-game gold just for basic fast travel between maps. Without spending real money on top-tier equipment, making progress through this repetitive cycle feels extremely frustrating and slow. In my view, the event design is highly unfair. A prime example is the new Electric Set: to earn it as a free player, you are expected to defeat a boss around 3,000 times in just a few days, which is virtually impossible for a casual gamer. Meanwhile, the exact same set is available in the cash shop for a hefty amount of real money. On certain events, you are even forced to buy a special cloak with real money just to complete the basic reward bar. The same applies to pets, where an event might only give you half of the required materials, forcing you to either pay for the rest or wait a full year for the event to return. Combined with reward chests featuring drop rates below 1%—where you aren't even guaranteed to get the item after paying—the game constantly pushes players to keep spending just for a random chance at progress. In my view, a great core game is ruined by repetitive design and excessive monetization pressure. Unless you are willing to spend hundreds of euros, I cannot recommend it.

I will leave my feedback here because I really care about this game. I love the game and I only play Drakensang online. It's too bad that this game never got into the hands of good and competent developers. I am very disappointed with the developers at the moment and the content that they create in every single event, especially Chinese New Year. This time, the developers of the game really crossed the line. I was under the impression that the DEVs really care about this game and the few players that are left. However, with The Chinese New Year they proved exactly the opposite. All they care about is money. The only purpose of the DEVs is to get the last cent from the players' pocket. Twisting players' arms for money is somehow not right or correct. I definitely will not make a group of people millionaires with a game which is 20 y/o. I believe that everyone has the same opinion. We, like the DEVs, have our own lives, we go to work, we have families. Our life is not Drakensang Online. I haven't entered this stupid event even once, and I won't till its end. Let the DEVs play it! I dont care at ll how mighty this stupid Drako set is! And one more thing very important! The Developers are just killing the game with all these millions of andermants the players have to spend every single event. Instead of trying to reduce the number of the players using BOT, on the contrary - their number increases. Players who have not used to play with BOT are now playing with BOT. I will give you Dark Orbit as an example. I stopped this game a long time ago exactly because it turned into a bot game. This is exactly why I stopped the game. I am seriously considering stopping Drakensang Online too!!! It's really hard to find groups for Realm Fragments, Blood Chests, Events, etc., just because almost everyone is booting the game. And the DEVs are doing nothing. Some of the players are botting even the arena. Last thing - the DEVs are destroying the arena now with all these new sets that make possible each player to kill the opponent with one shot. Most of the players are playing mostly arena. Now the players are juust leaving the battlefield when they see a mage or a dwarf as an opponent. The arena now is a complete trash!!! The result? - More and more players are quitting the game! Long time ago they removed the runes and the jewels from the arena with this purpose! These are ancient characters that have maces, swords, bows. It is expected the playes to show some skills on the arena, it is not expected to oneshot the opponent. The current DEV team has no clear vision and concept about this game. I hope we can change the situation here!

Towarzyszę tej grze od dobrych 10lat +/- 2 lata. Gra ma potencjał i coś w sobie ma co sprawia, że chce się do niej wracać po krótkiej przerwie. Niestety pomimo wprowadzanych aktualizacji i dużej ilości nowego kontentu gra nie ma nic nowego do zaoferowania. Ironia tej produkcji..im więcej nowości tym mniej nowości. Wszystko co jest wprowadzane jest nieprzemyślane, przykładem jest nowy set z Chińskiego Nowego Roku, ktory jest do zabawy na 5min i odłożenia do depozytu na zawszę. Chcesz mieć nowy set? nie ma problemu...poświęć 5 dni (co jest naturalne w grach tego gatunku) i 700 000 mrocznych monet które zbierałeś ostatni rok. Gra nastawiona na zakup mrocznych monet. Czas nie gra roli tylko twój portfel. To już nie to co kiedyś....farmiło się dwa tygodnie jedną mapę dla itemu, który zmieni twoje życie, mroczne były tylko dodatkiem, a po poświęconym czasie czułeś, że było warto. Deweloperzy oczywiście muszą jakoś zarobić, dlatego mimo wszystko wspierało się ich zakupem lootboxów, peleryn eventowych, ogólnie rzecz biorąc rzeczami, które pomagały coś zdobyć....teraz kupuję się same przedmioty. Bez kasy nie masz racji bytu, ponieważ nie masz jak brać udziału w ewentach. Co poprawi tą grę? Mechaniki dla tego gatunku gier, nowe przedmioty, które umożliwią zbalansowaną grę z setem BGH/Draganem i przede wszystkim słuchanie ludzi, którzy jakimś cudem jeszcze tu grają.
