What a ridiculous thing that I spent over $6K to go to Joe Dispenza's Week Long Retreat and learn nothing more than what is in his Progressive course and meditations. They should call it the Hunger Games Retreat. Joe Dispenza and his followers (at least the majority at the retreat) were anything but the spiritually enlightened humans I thought I would encounter. Quite the opposite. Joe Dispenza is an arrogant man strutting around and dancing on stage with his sycophants gaslighting themselves and others with toxic positivity. The lines to the Hunger Games Retreat auditorium were messy and unfair, with selfish people stacking towels and mats to hold their place in line for hours before the doors open. And then other selfish attendees skipped the lines completely, while others waited patiently but then missed out because the selfish ones got all the good seats. Joe Dispenza couldn't even order enough snacks for everyone at the Week Long Retreat, I mean, the Hunger Games Retreat. Every single break time, attendees would frantically run out to the snack tables or jump the lines so they could gorge while others in wheelchairs or slow walkers went without snacks. After a few times of this happening, we asked server staff and they told us Joe Dispenza only orders around 500 snacks, even though there were about 1,800 attendees. WTF. $2,699 for the retreat + over $3K for lodging and travel to play the idiotic guru-obsessed Hunger Games.

I came to Dr. Joe's work through my sister's experiences. I have seen firsthand the gentle sustained changes in her level of happiness. So first I watched the 13 episode series on Gaia. Then I bought the Progressive Course. Yes, it was $400, and yes, it has been worth it. I'm on my third time through and learning more each time. It takes real effort to learn to meditate for 45+ minutes every day. Like any challenge, when you first start to make change, the first thing that happens is that obstacles come up. That stops some people who aren't ready to change. I'm grateful that I'm making it through and seeing real change in my health, my attitude towards life, and my happiness. I am now signed up for a weeklong in October. I have done my homework. I expect it to be challenging. I know that it will start very early in the morning, and go very late at night. I know that at times I will be stretched to my maximum. I know that the retreat is not planned for people with children. You have to arrange full time childcare yourself. Full time means all day and night for all seven days. If you can't do that then this is not the right retreat for you. If you don't buy the Progressive Course then it disappears. There is now a download button for new meditation purchases. Download them. Then they can't disappear. Yes, it costs a lot of money to go to a weeklong retreat. Most of the cost goes to the airline to get you there, to the venue to house and feed you for a week, to the technicians who create the beautiful music and visuals to give you an amazing meditative experience, and to the researchers who document the physiologic changes in the participants. If you look at Dr. Joe's work schedule, he works steadily through the year, providing leadership for those of us who want to contribute to the next leap in consciousness for the human race. I am very grateful for the body of work he has created and the vision he has for change in the world. I'm a proud Penzie

I had purchased progressive online course, which I was using continously. Not that I just come to the website and see that it has dissappeared from my profile. And no answer from customer support, how can this be even possible?

This is a money making scheme first and foremost. Client wellbeing is secondary to the chance to sell as much "product" as possible to vulnerable consumers. The retreats in particular are vastly overpriced opportunities to exploit and profiteer. There are benefits in meditation but you can get that from a free app. When people are vulnerable they need help and support not exploitation, for a "wellness Guru" this organisation has the opposite effect to what it advertises.

After spending hours and hours of this practice I can say that Dispenza is just bulldozing people into some extatic state where supposedly you can create life that you want by already living it (similar as in book Secret). Basically it’s a great sales machine of promising a pie in the sky. But then the reality hits people. And they get depressed because they never got what they were expecting or they get things worse as they have huge conflict of expectations vs reality. His work doesn’t make people happier or healthier. Although living in fantasies is also not bad(and it’s expensive. Be ready to leave 500-1000$ easily in this rabbit hole!) The choice is yours. Ps: look at quantum entrainment as alternative. Much more realistic and useful.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
