A scam with false advertisements
A scam with false advertisements! It encourages you to sign up for free for 30 days. When you email to cancel within the 30 days grave period, they email to say because the 1st payment has been taken, you are locked in for 2 years?! Absolute craziness. The options are limited and just a terrible experience throughout. Do NOT bother signing up for this, unless you want to be conned into a 2 year financial commitment that you never signed up for.

Is it a common trend on Eharmony, or have other people noticed the same pattern?
Every time I came across someone who seemed genuine, she disappeared from the site the very next day. Overall, I prefer SttDate.com They're definitely ahead of the competition in terms of quality. I'm done with Eharmony. They take your money, but the whole experience ultimately leads to disappointment. There are so many fake accounts, while the profiles that seem genuine and down-to-earth mysteriously vanish into thin air. On top of that, they don't make it easy to cancel your membership. The cancellation process is unnecessarily complicated, and once you've paid them at least once, it feels like they don't want to let you leave.

This company scams you Do not join this company. They have no or few matches within 100miles and when you try to cancel they take money, which is unauthorised, from your account. Took £130.00 for free personality account then offered to discount to 50%. Had to block them via my bank. Under UK law we have 14 days to cancel. Sharp practices, don’t have the matches and generally really poor site navigation. Match.com much better.. try that instead.

Forced to ‘love’
The company have changed how they show you profiles. It’s awful. You now have to click the heart icon or permanently remove the person’s profile from your results. There is no way you can revisit someone’s profile or move on to the next profile without doing this. I used to like to be able have a think and also compare different people before deciding whether to message them. This is not allowed now. All users are adults and should be treated as such. I can decide for myself and no amount of engineering a forced response will make me like someone just to be able to have a think about their profile. I’ve paid for a year and have cancelled auto renew so maybe someone will appear in that time but I don’t bother actively using the site anymore. There is very limited numbers on the site. I’m ‘liked’ by people who live over 150 miles away when I’ve selected under 30 miles. I can’t believe there’s no one in that radius! Friends who have also used eHarmony say they’ve also had very few matches locally. Overall, a very poor experience on a badly designed dating platform. Shame on you eharmony.

No local potential matches
No local potential matches. Have to search 60 miles plus to even see any profiles. Locked in for 6 months! There should be a 'no local matches' clause that allows you to get out early. U have to love or block a profile to move onto the next. Eharmony does not have the membership to support the fee. Avoid!
