Pod 3 cover leaked at 3 years — 5-year warranty refused
Bought a Pod 3 Cover in May 2023 for over £2,300, with the Plus membership that included Eight Sleep’s 5-year extended warranty. Three years in, the cover is leaking water onto the mattress. Other Pod 3 owners report the same failure at the same age indicating significant product and quality issues. Support confirmed the leak, then refused the claim, saying the warranty was voided because the subscription had been paused in 2024. It was reactivated on the same household’s account, which Eight Sleep’s own app shows as a member since May 2023. I was told the membership “started in 2026”. Premium price, three-year lifespan, and a five-year warranty that lapses the moment you pause a subscription. Escalated in writing. I’ll update this if it’s resolved

Night 1 with the POD5
Night 1 with the POD5. Data from 8sleep app: score of 57 out of 100 (very bad score). The autopilot increased the temperature 9 times during the night, the app told me this. It increased it from where we set the temperature. This woke me up 3 times during the night being too hot. The only way to get the POD5 to start cooling again was to turn off the system and restart. We are pretty happy Bed Jet users, but I still woke up a couple times a night and thought we would try the POD5. At this point the AI controls way too much and keeps increasing the temperature of the POD5 making it very difficult to sleep. Opposite the reason we purchased the POD5. We live in Palm Springs California and are looking for a solution where we don't have to cool the entire house for good sleeping. I will modify my rating if 8sleep responds to my support request for assistance.

I ordered this July 25
I ordered this July 25, 2026. I received the Pad on 8-23-26, They did not ship the Pod with the Pad and I am still waiting for delivery. My order shows it has been in Salt Lake for over a week, when i contact customer support, which is AI and has automated responses, I cannot speak to anyone. So my Pod is stuck in Salt Lake and have no in Customer support, especially in not being able to speak to a Human!!!

Not worth it
First of all, their product doesn’t seem to do much to improve sleep. It often feels cold even at the lowest setting, which might actually wake you up at night. Secondly, if you want to return it, strap in for a ride.
