Thanks to Hakan and Surgeon Selem
I contacted Hakan and from that moment I was kept up to date with everything until the day I flew home. The whole experience is proffesionaly done , hotel provided if you wish transport from the airport and I arrived on a Sunday at 0200am and the driver was waiting . Treatment started on the Monday with stringent checks first and by 1430 my first lens was in place , the whole process is faultless and every step of the way you are informed. Tuesday I got up and removed my eye patch and was amazed I could read the small print on the toothpaste tube . I had my second lens done that day and again professional and faultless and again informed every step of the way. I would strongly recommend having the treatment, no pain just a little discomfort during and after treatment , I am10 days post treatment and have 90% full vision and no discomfort for about 6 days , so all in all price fantastic , treatment professional and pain free with each and everyone of the staff putting you at ease throughout and looking after you. The prices charged are worth every penny , don't hesitate it's life changing , my sight is now fantastic

2-Star Review – My Experience with Lower Blepharoplasty I chose Era Göz because it is an eye hospital and had positive reviews. I travelled from the UK in October 2025 for a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty, hoping to address under-eye bags. My experience was mixed. On the day of surgery, I was surprised to learn that the procedure would initially be performed under local anaesthetic. I found this extremely distressing and uncomfortable. I could hear the surgical instruments and found the experience difficult to tolerate. After a short period, I asked for the procedure to stop and later returned for treatment under sedation/general anaesthesia. One aspect I found concerning was the attitude I experienced when I expressed discomfort during the procedure. I did not feel particularly reassured as a patient. The biggest disappointment has been the outcome. Eight months later, I still have significant swelling and under-eye fullness, and the result appears very similar to how it looked before surgery. While healing can vary from person to person, I expected a more noticeable improvement by this stage. I have contacted the clinic several times to ask about my ongoing concerns and to seek advice regarding the result, but unfortunately I have not received a response. To be fair, while I was there I met other patients who were very happy with their treatment outcomes, particularly laser eye procedures, so I appreciate that many people may have positive experiences with this clinic. However, based on my own experience with lower eyelid surgery, the lack of post-operative communication and the outcome I achieved mean that I cannot personally recommend travelling abroad for this procedure. I am now considering consulting a UK-based specialist for a revision assessment in the future.

I researched for months and always came…
I researched for months and always came back to here, the co-ordinator from the start was quick to reply and answered all of my questions. On the day very thorough and the actual op no pain no discomfort just wierd! When I woke up the following day and could actually read tiny text on my phone I was gobsmacked the results are nothing short of amazing, glasses now in the bin, the professionalism and skill made the whole experience as good as it could be.

Trifocal lens replacement
My partner and I have recently had trifocal lens replacement at Era Goz eye hospital. Hakim did an excellent job of taking care of us through the whole process. So organised compared to anything I have experienced in the UK and of course so much cheaper. I know going abroad for any procedure will be daunting but I can highly recommend this clinic… Dr Salim carried out the procedure and he is very experienced and confident. We felt at ease and pleased with the outcome.
