My first electric skateboard was an Exway Flex Riot. It helped me survive the COVID apocalypse. Now I have about 5,000 km on a skateboard, so I feel my Flex is not powerful enough for me. More speed equals less distance, so I upgraded to an Exway Flex Paragon and bought a little Exway Wave and backpack for shopping and vacations. The Exway Paragon is a beast! I can go over 50 km/h, and the acceleration pushes you forward with power at high speeds. I love it, and the distance is still long enough. The light around the board is like something from the future, but I have a faulty light unit in my skate, so I need customer service to help. I sent some info, Exway sent some questions, I sent some photos, and they sent me a brand new battery. A 20-second replacement, and everything works perfectly. Now I have 3 electric boards. Do you think it is too much? No! Now my wife and daughter ride with me, and I have a son too, so one board is still missing. Maybe an Atlas can fill the hole.:) But be careful, pals, wear protection if you ride like a devil. Be safe.

Bought the wave V2 with rover wheels
Bought the wave V2 with rover wheels. Seems good build quality, no issues. I made a mistake on the extra belt order and they corrected without delay. The team was responsive and kind. Worked out well as I also wanted to upgrade the 44t pulleys so they sent the 280 belts. Input for the company: I wish they could have had a lower cost package with the rover wheels and pulleys to start. No need for the poly wheels and smaller pulleys for me. Secondly for programmers, I don't like that the board flashes when the battery is low. I know it's low from the remote vibration, why waste my last little power. Just some thoughts. Gave it another shot (changed from HUB to RIOT)
I bought an Exway Wave with hub motors a few years ago and ran into several issues over time. While customer support initially helped me solve a faulty battery issue, the overall material quality didn’t quite match my expectations. After about a year of usage, the original motors started to lag, so I purchased new hub motors and a replacement battery. Unfortunately, both failed after just six months. I was caught in light rain ONCE, which made things worse. The rubber charging port cover broke surprisingly quickly, allowing moisture to slide inside. One of the new hub motors also began lagging, and when I opened it to clean it, the internals literally disintegrated. At that point, I completely gave up on the board until sunny weather returned the following year and I decided to give it another shot. I ordered the Riot kit, as it was advertised as compatible and interchangeable between models. However, it turned out NOT to be compatible with my specific board, which was extremely frustrating after spending more money to fix the situation. Fortunately, I explained everything to customer support. The agent was incredibly helpful, friendly, and—most importantly—solved the problem. They provided a prepaid shipping label so I could return the incompatible Riot kit, and they sent me a complete new Wave Riot board as a replacement. I just received it today and really hope it holds up better this time. Overall: while the hardware durability and material quality were disappointing, Exway's customer service is truly amazing and stood by their product.

Excellent company
I've been a customer for 2 years now, originally bought the Exway Wave and the skate backpack in a combo deal. A few days ago I noticed that one of the battery mount rails was missing, somehow it fell off and I lost it. I've contacted support, they answered the next day and were very responsive. After confirmation they shipped out a spare part. Overall I'm very satisfied with their products and their customer service, so I would highly recommend this brand to anyone who is skating, and would like to experience an electric skateboard.

I have the Exway Wave with the 99 Wh battery and Hub motor. I upgraded to 105mm cloud wheels because the roads around here have ridiculous gravel all over from construction vehicles. I’m 51 yo and weigh 215… so not a slim young man. I’ve been riding my Exway for 2 months and have just over 30 miles on it. I got it to be able to take with me traveling on a plane. This is my second eboard… I just started riding last year. So my review: Awesome! Great ride. I mainly ride in 3rd gear which maxes out at 15mph with my “large” frame on it. Thats plenty fast for me. I can ride for about 6 hours with two fully charged batteries… that’s with the lights on and most of the ride at full speed. I think it carves well (I don’t know if I’m the best judge for this)… it carves just as good as my first board, a meepo mini v3 The deck is slightly smaller and more concave. It rolls over most small obstacles with the cloud wheels that might trip up street wheels. It flys off curves and over sidewalk ridges really smooth. The app is great. I can make adjustments to how it handles easily and change the light schemes. Having pre-installed lights is awesome… love that feature and an advantage over my other board. I had a problem with the controller after riding it for a month. I think I left it plugged in charging during 100 degree heat for too long and it just stopped working. I emailed Exway and they just said, “no problem”! And sent a replacement out right away. I’ve now ordered the Exway ADV Pro because I want to have more off road capability, plus it gives me another board and I like taking my sons out together and riding around the neighborhood. Oh, and I screwed up my order for the ADV Pro and after a quick email, Will fixed it for me. They respond really fast to any problems. I don’t ride crazy. I just love the feel and like pushing my speed tolerance. It feels like snowboarding when there’s no snow. The neighbors keep asking about it and I have recommended Exway all the way. Like I said I’m not a pro rider but for this price, the quality and service has been amazing. Try them if you are thinking about it! They’ll take good care of you and the ride is a blast!
