Went to the Richmond branch with my 91…
Went to the Richmond branch with my 91 year old mum today. We couldn’t be happier with the help and guidance we received from Harry. Mum purchased 3 pairs of high quality shoes, including sandals, that could all accommodate her orthotics. Harry is a ⭐️ An update. My mum no longer needs her walking stick and is over the moon with her new shoes😊

Be careful
I am leaving a detailed review because I previously had an excellent experience with Foot Solutions Glasgow. On two occasions, under what I believe was previous management, I received custom insoles and shoes that were genuinely life-changing. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very different. The shop was appointment-only, there was much less opportunity to browse footwear, and it appeared to have significantly fewer staff and customers than before. One challenge with custom insoles is that you cannot test the finished combination of shoes and insoles before purchase because the insoles are made separately. On this occasion, I was sold shoes that did not suit my feet and, once the insoles were fitted, did not fit comfortably. Despite trying to wear them in, I experienced aching across the top of my feet and swollen ankles. This was an expensive mistake. When I later checked the shoes, I noticed they were a half size smaller than the pair I had previously worn comfortably. Shoe sizing was not discussed during the fitting process. Given my past positive experiences, this has led me to question whether the same level of expertise is available today. It is a real shame because this shop once provided an excellent and important service, and I hope it can return to those standards. I want to add more information because I asked ai to compare my previous and newest insoles base on a photo of my bare feet against them. This was done objectively and I share it to help other customers: Custom Orthotics Comparison Record Preferred Pair (Older / Insole 2): Design: Features a higher, more aggressive arch profile and a slightly thicker heel base (higher heel pitch). Fit: Provides "total contact" support, perfectly hugging the contours of the midfoot with no gaps. Clinical Outcome: Highly comfortable and structurally supportive. This profile represents the correct therapeutic shape for my feet. Rejected Pair (Newer / Insole 1): Design: Built with a lower, flatter arch profile and a thinner, flatter heel base. Fit: Poor structural fit. Left a highly visible gap/shadow under the highest part of the medial arch, failing to provide adequate contact or support. Clinical Outcome: Uncomfortable and biologically incorrect. Discarded due to lack of arch engagement.. In terms of the shoes, I asked for a comparison of my previous and newer shoes: Your old Mephistos were built on a deeper, more flexible last that suited your high arch and wide forefoot, while the newer zip‑front Mephistos use a shallower, stiffer last that compresses your midfoot and bunion, making them incompatible with both your anatomy and your inserts. So as a result, the analysis states: Because the new Mephistos lacked depth and the new insoles added height, the two together forced your foot into a cramped, upward‑pressured position that led directly to inflammation.

Terrible Experience at Foot Solutions Ingram Street Glasgow.
I recently bought shoes and the experience was horrible. I returned to the store asking to exchange the shoes but was told company policy did not allow for this. Having bought upwards of 10 pairs of shoes is the last 5 or 6 years. I note many similar reviews hence the rating is 1 star. My name is William Reid and I hope people do not shop at Foot Solutions in future.

I had a $250 credit at this store in…
I had a $250 credit at this store in Mesa Arizona that they wouldn’t refund me but promised me that the credit would be there forever and would be filed under my email address and available for me to use at any time. When I went to the store to use this credit I was told that Foot Solutions had changed from private ownership to corporate ownership and of course my credit that was supposed to have been kept on file forever has disappeared. I spoke to someone at the corporate office by the name of Kathy McGowan who promised she would honor my credit but after several emails back-and-forth she is disappeared and stopped responding. I find this to be quite a scam!!! If there was a change from private ownership to corporate ownership then the original owner should’ve declared all of their accounts payable and receivables to the corporation so that that credit was still in place but it appears the original owner must’ve been a very dishonest person

I wish I had read the many horror…
I wish I had read the many horror reviews regarding Foot Solutions Ingram Street Glasgow. I would never have entered the shop. The shoes cost 225 pounds and I have never worn such uncomfortable painful shoes following the purchase. I contacted the store and I would advise customers to the claims made on their website did not materialise. DO NOT ENTER THE STORE SHOP ELSEWHERE I contacted another Foot Solutions Store and they were very helpful....they told me the behaviour of the manager and staff is LEGENDARY ....a shop of horrors!!!!
