⭐️ safety hazard to pets
⭐️ Extremely disappointing management of the landscaping and planted areas around the residential development. Foxtails have been planted/allowed to grow in areas used by residents and their pets, creating a serious and completely avoidable risk to animals. Foxtails can become embedded in a pet’s skin, paws, ears or other parts of the body and may require veterinary treatment or surgical removal, potentially resulting in significant distress for pets and very costly vet bills. Despite the seriousness of the issue, it has been extremely difficult to get clear answers, action or a meaningful response from Get Living. Residents should not have to repeatedly chase management over a preventable hazard in communal residential areas. The wellbeing and safety of residents and their pets should be taken seriously. Far better communication, maintenance and proactive management of the planted areas are needed. Very disappointing experience. ⭐️

They are professional scammers
They are professional scammers. They ignore emails, send over the lease agreement at a differently agreed price at the last minute after you paid the reservation fee one month in advance.

I would strongly advise against…
I would strongly advise against renting from this company. My experience here has been incredibly frustrating, and the reality of living here does not match what is advertised. Key Issues: Extortionate Utilities: The hot water charges alone are absolute extortion, frequently costing upwards of £100+ a month. Constant Noise & Disruption: The building is plagued by street noise. You will be woken up at all hours by cars with loud exhausts and constant police or ambulance sirens. To make matters worse, management is currently looking to remove the building's security staff, which is a massive safety concern. Seagulls nest on the roofs and wake you up from 3am. Ruined Communal Spaces: The roof terrace is completely neglected. Despite rules forbidding them, dogs are constantly on the terrace. As a result, the furniture is stained with dog urine and the flower beds are ruined with excrement. Anti-Social Behavior: There is zero enforcement of community standards. People use the roof terrace with absolutely no respect for others, blasting out loud music at all hours. Overpriced: The rent prices are entirely too expensive and simply not justified for this location in the city centre, especially given the poor management and lack of upkeep. INHUMANE MANAGEMENT AND TERRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS! I have been living with them for 3 years, every winter out heating doesn’t work properly and we need to use electric heaters on top of paying over £300 in heating just to try to not have a freezing cold home. They arranged more than 20 visits, found faults but say the heating is working on paper so even though we don’t feel it at all they won’t do anything further to fix it or provide compensation. We found out this was an issue previous residents also had but this was never informed to us prior to signing the contract and moving in. They keep raising the rent, and my partner has started developing health issues due to this, Sam the Head of Management provides the most robotic and empathy lacking responses arguing that visits from the maintenance team mean they have fulfilled their responsibilities. DO NOT MOVE HERE AT ANY COST!!
