Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. In my experience, dealing with Giambrone & Partners on a long-running personal injury matter of 14 years!!!! Yes, 14 years! was deeply frustrating and financially damaging to me I was frequently asked to pay fees and was dubious of this. Despite an initial signed No Win No Fee agreement, fee terms were varied, and I was never provided with written receipts or warnings regarding the substantial financial risks of adverse court costs prior to me rejecting and being encouraged by the firm to reject a settlement offer. When the case did not win after many many years (14 years!), I was left facing an €11,000 plus court cost (which I was never once advised could be a possibility )of in writing, as I was told many times liability was admitted in writing. My formal internal complaint was rejected by the firm, relying on claims of unrecorded “verbal” discussions. The matter has now been formally referred to the UK Legal Ombudsman for investigation into inadequate service and failure of written risk disclosure. I feel victimised and let down . I strongly urge prospective clients to ensure all risk advice and fee terms are provided in writing before proceeding. Proceed with extreme caution .

Rute Lourenço and the overall experience of working with Giambrone Law were excellent. Rute supported me from the very beginning of my move from the UK to Portugal as a US citizen. She guided me through every step of the process, made herself available for calls whenever needed, and provided all the documentation, guidance, and advice required to navigate applications in both the UK and Portugal.
