Alibaba advertise recommended suppliers and a full order protection for customers, but my experiences have shown that Alibaba is a platform for companies who produce poor quality goods and do not refund on damaged or faulty goods. Guangzhou Topwin Metal Accessories Ltd is a company that uses the Alibaba website as a platform to advertise their business. Guangzhou Topwin Metal Accessories Ltd advertises Logo Plates via Alibaba. The product advertised is not the same as the manufactured product, not the same in quality or appearance. Photos were supplied to Guangzhou Topwin Metal Accessories Ltd via the Alibaba messaging board that clearly showed a distorted finish and poor quality image on the surface of these Logo Plates. The machinery and final electroplating process used caused great variations in product quality and appearance. A total of 71% of Logo Plates received were damaged or had a poor quality finish. This error rate is unreasonably high. Guangzhou Topwin Metal Accessories Ltd refuses to refund 71% of the total cost paid and refuses to acknowledge there is a problem with their electroplating process. Alibaba refuses to control or act on false advertising with companies on their website. Alibaba also refuses to do anything about faulty and damaged goods based on the fact that my payment had been finalised. Alibaba’s star rating for companies gives the customer a false impression they are dealing with a good company when this is not the case.
