It’s a nightmare! The programmer never sticks to the schedule! It does whatever it likes every time it connects – I have to change everything; it’s incomprehensible! Recently, it’s been turning on the sprinklers at 2.00 pm even though there’s no programme set for that time. I’m really very disappointed with Hunter – the quality has gone.

Hunter irrigation system sucks
Hunter irrigation system sucks. They have no customer service. Every question about why it does not work only refers you to instruction manual or chat with useless bot. I want a company that has a phone number so I can talk to a live person. I am tired or going through the wizard set up every single time I use their useless app. I have to completely do a new set up every time. I have a WiFi mesh surrounding my home and everything on WiFi works except Hunter controller and they have no dealers or service people within 50 miles of me. I will never buy anything from any company that you cannot speak to.

Terrible customer support and product…
Terrible customer support and product experience. I purchased a new controller, and it stopped working after an update. DO NOT purchase these products if you are a homeowner, you will not be able to do anything yourself and will have to hire an expensive contractor. The controllers do not allow for manual firmware re-flashing, and the software is extremely buggy.

Very poor support experience.
Very poor support experience. My Hydrawise controller (X2) is online but unusable due to a system error (“pending ownership transfer”). I cannot manage irrigation at all. I have been trying to get support for over a week with no resolution. Responses are generic and do not address the real issue. This is not a user problem but a system/backend failure, and the lack of proper technical support is unacceptable. I expected much better reliability and service.

Stupid product Wi-Fi useless
Stupid product Wi-Fi useless. no backup. spend a lot of money. App does not work. I have ripped it out and changed to Rain Bird. Please don't buy this
