When fun turns to greed

The Bottom Line: Profit Over Players Despite pulling in massive revenues and record profits, IGG has stopped caring about player satisfaction. Instead of building a community, they treat players like ATMs through short-sighted cash grabs. The Breakdown of Corporate Greed Artificial Power Creep: Strategy is dead—replaced by a pay-to-win arms race. Rapid hero releases and stat upgrades are rushed out constantly, designed specifically to make your recent purchases useless so you're forced to buy more. Monetization First, Quality Last: Players get persistent bugs, terrible UI, and recycled events, while IGG focuses purely on paywalls. The game engine rots, but the cash shop never misses an update. F2P is a Lie: Free and low-spending players aren't valued; they're just fodder for high-spending "whales." By locking game-changing features behind paywalls, IGG is destroying the broader player base needed to keep a multiplayer game healthy. Deaf to the Community: Support tickets and feedback are met with copy-pasted corporate excuses. Instead of reinvesting record profits into better servers, gameplay, and bug fixes, the cash goes straight to executive payouts and investors. Short-Term Greed, Long-Term Collapse Milking a game for quick quarterly profits guarantees its eventual death. Squeezing players has limits: when low-spending players leave, whales have no one left to flex on and quit spending too. By putting pure greed ahead of player satisfaction, IGG is burning down the community that built them.

The Death of Player Trust: How IGG Turned a Flagship Success into a Cash-Grab Factory

There was a time when a game’s financial success was a sign of mutual respect: players loved the game, supported the developers, and got a balanced, competitive, and enjoyable experience in return. IGG clearly missed that memo. Despite generating hundreds of millions in revenue and posting massive net profit margins, IGG has completely abandoned the illusion of player satisfaction. Instead, they have shifted toward aggressive, short-sighted cash-extraction tactics that treat their player base like an ATM rather than a community.  The Anatomy of Corporate Greed • Artificial Power Creep: What used to be strategic gameplay has dissolved into a pay-to-win arms race. Stat-boosting additions, hero releases, and tier upgrades are rolled out at a desperate pace—not to enrich the game, but to render last month’s heavy investments utterly obsolete. • Aggressive Monetization Over Quality: While players deal with persistent bugs, clunky UI performance, and stale, recycled event formats, IGG’s development pipeline clearly prioritizes one thing: relentless paywalls. The game engine feels neglected, but the in-game shop updates on time, every time. • The Illusion of "Free-to-Play": F2P and low-spending players are no longer part of the ecosystem; they have been relegated to content for the whales. By pricing game-changing mechanics out of reach for average players, IGG is systematically destroying the foundational community required to keep a multiplayer game alive. • Ignoring the Voice of the Community: Feedback channels, support tickets, and community outcry are met with non-committal corporate boilerplates. When a flagship title hits record-breaking gross billings, a portion of that revenue should return to the community through better servers, polished content, and balanced gameplay. Instead, it vanishes into executive payouts and shareholder margins. Short-Term Profit, Long-Term Ruin Milking a top-grossing game for every last cent might look brilliant on a quarterly earnings report, but it is a death sentence for long-term IP sustainability. You cannot squeeze a player base indefinitely without consequences. Whales stop spending when there is no low-tier community left to dominate, and loyal players eventually cut their losses and move . IGG has made its priority crystal clear: profits come first, player satisfaction doesn't even make the list. It’s an insulting turn for a community that built the game's success in the first place.

I would never trust it

I would never trust it, was looking for an update that came out today and this website put the publication date as yesterday. A lot of websites have a "dynamic" publication date that just shows u a recent date so u download from them thinking it's the most recent upload. I would never trust downloading from them after this. (game was Palw°rld and 1.0 came out today. the download say "download v1.0, release date 09/07")
