Disappointing experience with a personalised, defective bottle
I ordered the Leak Proof Slim Water Bottle, Personalised, Stainless Steel, 600ml in Ash Navy — personalised with my son’s name. In fact I bought two of these. One bottle arrived with a clearly defective cap. Not a minor cosmetic quibble: it doesn’t work as it should. When I contacted ion8, I was told my only option was to accept a replacement lid in “navy” — a colour that isn’t even listed for this bottle in this size. What I ordered, and what’s still in stock on their own website right now, is Ash Navy. A point they didnt really address in their correspondence despite me raising it. To make matters worse, they insisted the product isn’t “faulty” at all, despite sending me a defective cap in the first place. Because this bottle is personalised with my son’s name, the expectation is that I can’t just return it and start again — I’m stuck with either a broken cap or a mismatched one, for an item I paid full price for and that should have been correct from the start. What really gets me is the attitude behind it all: a token apology, followed by being told flatly that this is my only real Option. No real acknowledgment, no willingness to actually fix their mistake — just take it or leave it. I would think twice before purchasing from them again. Truly disappointing

Great quality bottles, there was a bottle missing from my order but Inah sorted it for me really quickly and got another one sent out in 2 days! Fantastic customer service.

I ordered a personalised bottle which was meant to be 100% leakproof, however it wasn’t, it leaked so I sent it back. My score is reflective of the appalling customer service. I tracked my return and it’s been received, however no confirmation email with an update on my return and still no refund. I phoned their customer service, awful service, I was told on the phone ‘we don’t deal with that over the phone so cannot help!’ When asked what I can do the guy was very rude telling me he was busy and huffing and puffing. I have emailed them with no luck! Awful after sale service, you can tell how good a company is by how well they deal with problems! Well this is 0/10, will not be buying from them again and I will be escalating this claim!

Great quality bottles
Ordered a couple of custom bottles. They are great; I particularly like the locking caps. Not the cheapest out there but a fair price for what feels like a quality product. Highly recommend!
