It's the lack of communication on part…

It's the lack of communication on part of the company. I expected a tracking number 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive it. Based on previous emails I was told to expect the item to arrive by end August. That seems doubtful, now. I was informed that the item comes in a non-descript brown box. Every high value collectible I've purchased comes in a package with art inspired by the collectible. I've been told that poster that comes with the Batmobile isn't covered by insurance so I expect that to arrive damaged. Should the Batmobile arrive damaged I was told the company "would work with me" towards a solution. How does that work with an item shipped in a plain brown box then put on a ship to bounce to Canada? The shipping charges are OBSCENE. I purchase items of similar weight and size from China and pay NOWHERE near what I've been charged. They say no, but I think shipping is its own profit center. I hope I'm wrong but I suspect that I'm in for a dispute with this company. (They can't even get a tracking number to its customers in a timely fashion. On July 17th 2026, I was told to expect a shipping label " in about a week" then expect a 45 day (What?) shipping time. That told me to expect the Batmobile by the end of August or first week of September. I was so looking forward to receiving this. Now, I'm dreading it, based on poor communication, eye-watering shipping costs, and cost cutting measures used in packaging.

Hi Dennis, Joost here, founder of Jazzinc. I wanted to respond personally because I appreciate that this is a significant purchase and that waiting for an international sea shipment can be frustrating. At the same time, I was genuinely surprised to see a one-star review alleging a lack of communication and predicting that the Batmobile will arrive damaged or be a substandard product, while the communicated shipping period had not yet passed and before you had received or inspected the Batmobile. On July 16, before the shipping charge was paid, we explained that the shipping carton measures 137 × 59 × 39 cm and weighs 19 kg. We also explained that the Batmobile would travel to Canada by DDP sea freight, that the shipping charge reflected the actual logistics cost and included duties and fees, and that the estimated sea-freight transit time was approximately 55–60 days. Delivery by the end of August was therefore not promised. A shipping confirmation containing the UPS tracking number was sent on July 23. When you contacted us again, we supplied the tracking number directly on August 17 and explained that UPS does not show movement while the shipment is at sea or undergoing customs clearance, because UPS only handles the final part of the journey. Regarding the art box, this is the only Jazzinc product that does not include one. This was not a cost-cutting decision. At the required carton dimensions, we were unable to find a supplier or printer capable of producing a full-colour art box. Spending another $20 or $30, as suggested, would not have resolved that technical limitation. Double-boxing would only add another plain transport carton, increase the shipping volume and cost, and still would not create a printed art box. We therefore included a complimentary full-colour poster as the only feasible presentation alternative we could source at this scale. The absence of a printed art box does not mean the Batmobile is inadequately protected. It is secured inside the transport carton by custom-moulded Styrofoam packaging that underwent drop and shake testing. We fully accept that you would have preferred an art box and that you consider the shipping price high. Those are legitimate opinions. However, the statements that tracking and communication were not provided, that delivery was expected by the end of August, and that shipping is a Jazzinc profit centre do not match our written correspondence. Most importantly, the Batmobile had not been delivered when the review was written, so its condition, packaging performance and product quality could not yet be judged. We hope you will update the review once the Batmobile has arrived and you have been able to assess the complete experience. Should there be an actual problem upon delivery, we will of course stand behind the product and assist you. Extremely positive experiences

Extremely positive experiences. I bought several JAZZINC Batman vehicles so far, including the 1989 Batmobile and Batwing. Since I live about a 2 hour drive from “THE BATCAVE”, I had the pleasure to meet Joost a few times already and he’s always very nice to talk to. I have several items in pre-order so I will be making more trips in the future for sure:)

They love the love for detail and…

They love the love for detail and perfection. I own a few of their 1/6 vehicles and the detail is just absolute amazing. Sure they cost more than the Hot Toys versions but their quality and love for detail is absolute unbeatable . Cant wait for more items for my Batman collection
