Formal Complaint regarding misleading recruitment practices and unprofessional conduct – Konstantin Rusanov (Postcode: PE11 2YL) Dear Job and Talent Team, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the deeply unsatisfactory and misleading experience I encountered through your agency. I applied online specifically for a hygiene position (washing and cleaning production areas after shifts). Shortly after my application, a representative called me, and we had an in-depth, 30-minute phone conversation where I provided all necessary information. I then completed your lengthy application form within an hour. Following this, I received an official SMS with instructions and an address for the appointment. However, the address sent to me via your text message did not correspond to the correct location. Fortunately, I personally know this facility and where the staff shop is located. Even though I followed your navigation instructions, it forced me to drive a pointless 4-mile loop in the vicinity, resulting in a direct and completely unnecessary waste of my precious time. Upon arrival, the reality was entirely different from what was promised: Misleading Information: I was informed on-site that the appointment was merely a registration session rather than the induction I was explicitly summoned for. When I questioned this, a staff member casually asked why I had traveled there instead of Boston, completely ignoring the chaotic and incorrect coordination from your side. Redundant Demands & Bureaucracy: After going through a massive phone interview and spending an hour filling out your application, I was subjected to excessive, unnecessary data collection on-site. As I made clear, to work legally in the UK, an agency only requires my passport and share code—both of which I have ready to go. Unacceptable Conditions & Lack of Professionalism: Upon entering, I found a large crowd of candidates with nowhere to sit, with no basic provisions or organizational structure in place. Furthermore, when I was leaving, a staff member made vague remarks about checks, completely disregarding the fact that I am fully documented and ready to work. The overall treatment showed a complete lack of basic courtesy and respect for applicants' time. With 17 years of working experience in the United Kingdom, I expect a standard of basic professional courtesy, accurate instructions, transparent communication, and respect for candidates. Treating applicants as disposable statistics by dragging them in under false pretenses is unacceptable. I am in a position to escalate this matter regarding fair treatment and recruitment standards through my trade union representation, but I prefer to give Job and Talent the opportunity to address these operational failures internally first. La atención por IA es de las peores formas de atender a las personas. Respuestas pésimas a las preguntas, no paran de bombardear con llamadas y, cuando realmente necesitas ayuda, resulta prácticamente imposible hablar con una persona. Después de hacer todo el proceso para un trabajo, aportar documentación y estar literalmente a punto de firmar el contrato, me comunican que se ha cancelado sin dar una explicación clara. Para rematar, ahora ni siquiera puedo acceder a mi cuenta porque me obligan a iniciar sesión mediante un SMS que nunca llega. Una experiencia frustrante, desorganizada y con una atención al usuario muy deficiente. Mucha automatización, pero muy poca ayuda cuando de verdad hace falta.
