I am very frustrated with kdp Amazon right now. If there is 0 in the scale, I would have chosen it. There’s something terribly wrong with their customer service when it comes to accountability. Authors are kept in the dark concerning actual numbers of books sold.

onestamente da un'azienda come amazon e la sua vocazione dei libri, non dimentichiamo che tutto è partito da lì...recensioni di clienti che hanno acquistato sono state cancellate, ads impazzite e risposte dal reparto amazon ads palesemente con AI e noi siamo gli stupidi che ancora cercano la luna nel pozzo! non è questione di belle copertine, di dati...è questione di business! se per amazon vendere il tuo libro è un doppio guadagno, rifletti tu fai stampare il libro e paghi fai pubblicità e paghi oggi la pubblicità costa più del libro, basta lavorare per amazon!

TOTAL SCAM TO STEAL OUR ROYALTIES
TOTAL SCAM. When you start earning good amounts & your books start to get ranked, they terminate your account giving fake reasons to steal all your hard earned royalties, so wonder why these cammers don't even have 2 star ratings . They use bots to reply to the authors when the authors face any issues & those bots are programmed to send fcopy-pasted template replies which does not make any sense. My old KDP account has been terminated saying I have multiple KDP accounts. I don't. Even my Prime Subscribed Amazon buying account is also on the same email, but their bots doesn't want to listen & there is no-one you can talk to over the phone if your account is terminated & all you can send is keep sending appeals to their bots which either results in same generic copy-pasted template replies or no response at all. We need a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against these scumbugs who are only after the hard-earned money of the authors & hence when you face any issue, you can not get it resolved so that they can steal all your royalties.

Total frustration over producing audio edition
My husband and I had published three books through CreateSpace, and those were good experiences with professionals. I had a background in publishing and wanted Amazon mainly for its POD and distribution capabilities. But with the shift to KDP, we were dealing with multiple contacts, many of whom seemed to know little about publishing. I had trouble getting answers to specific queries and responses to information I had provided. But KDP did manage to get out HC, PB, and digital editions, although I wasn't as pleased as when the service allowed me to do my own specs and have CreateSpace execute. The total frustration came when we wanted to put out an audio edition, for which we paid. I chose a reader and, after some trouble about pronunciation, approved a file. Nothing happened. Someone called up and wanted my password on Audible. I suppose I was able to provide one, or maybe a new one, because those calls stopped. After several months, I asked where the audio version was. The answer was that our files had been rejected because Audible does not permit nonhuman readers. This was a shock I told Audible that the readers and the problem were theirs. Speaking of nonhuman, I just kept getting messages about the robot reader, with a bunch of technical stuff that I, as a pica-rule sort of person, cannot understand. Looks like $4000 down the drain because I don't see how I can solve this thing except by starting all over, and how would I know the new readers weren't robots? Of course, the best solution would have been to do our own recordings, but my husband can't do it any more, and no one wants to listen to me.
