Great Product, Excellent Customer Service
The perfect gift for a curious five-year-old who loves science! It’s more useful than any other toy we’ve tried, and so easy to use. Although there was an issue with the shipping company, the customer service team was very supportive. They listened to my concerns and helped me track the shipment until I finally received my package. I really appreciate their excellent customer service.

Amazing microscope
I came across an ad for their microscope on Facebook and decided to give it a try for viewing and photographing micro-minerals—something I struggle with because my hands are sometimes shaky and I need glasses to see (which I usually have to take off to use a traditional microscope). The built-in screen and photo capture button solve both of these problems perfectly. The zoom and focus work perfectly too, and the ability to adjust the brightness of the LEDs is excellent for helping you get that perfect shot. The image I’ve attached is one of my tiniest mineral specimens. The left side shows a photo taken with my iPhone camera, while the right side was taken using this microscope—zoomed in, focused, and set to brightness level 2. In the roughly 6 years I’ve owned this specimen, I’ve never been able to see this level of detail before. An amazing purchase for both adults and kids.

Terrible return experience
Terrible return experience — be very careful before buying I had a very disappointing experience with Kideo.ch and would strongly advise other customers to check the price and return conditions carefully before purchasing. I purchased an item from Kideo and later returned it unused and in its original condition and packaging. I also paid the return shipping cost myself. Despite this, Kideo refused to provide a full refund and deducted £7.55 from my refund for unexplained fee and alleged damage to the packaging. They provided a photograph of damaged packaging, but I do not accept that this proves the damage was caused by me, as the item was returned unused and properly packaged. What makes the situation even more disappointing is that I had already paid the cost of returning the item myself, yet they still chose to reduce my refund further. I would also strongly recommend comparing prices elsewhere before buying from Kideo. In my case, I subsequently found the exact same item on Amazon for around half the price — essentially double the price charged by Kideo. For me, the combination of the high price and the experience I had when trying to return the item has completely changed my view of this retailer. My advice: please check Amazon and other retailers for the exact same product before placing an order with Kideo, and carefully consider the potential return/refund experience. This review is based on my personal experience and the correspondence I had with the company.
