I thought this was the one
I was genuinely excited to try Krater. The all-in-one concept, multiple AI models, Projects, Keep, persistent files and instructions all in one place sounded exactly like what I needed. Oh boy, was that a mistake. 1- Keep doesn’t work on mobile,whether it's the Android app or the web browser. Annoying, but honestly, I could have lived with that. 2- Projects are the real disaster. Project instructions are simply ignored, and files added to a Project are not passed to the chat at all, regardless of the model used. I tested multiple models, fresh chats, mobile, desktop, browser, everything. So they're completely useless as they don't serve their purpose. 3- After several emails with support, the most useful troubleshooting advice I got was basically: refresh the page 😂, start a new chat, or try another model. I did and obviously, nothing changed. - I initially contacted support because I wanted the problem fixed, not because I wanted a refund. After repeatedly explaining the same issue and getting no actual solution, substantive communication basically stopped and I eventually had to open a dispute with my bank to try to recover the subscription payment. Krater has a lot of potential, which honestly makes this more frustrating. The real problem here is to know whether or not this is a known unresolved issue with Projects but not mentionned or even ignored by Krater to keep selling or if their support has simply no idea on how to fix it and didn't bother answering hoping it would resolve on its own. In either case, selling persistent Project context as a feature when it simply did not work on my account, then failing to provide a real solution, is not acceptable. Had they offered a refund or provided a temporary solution, I'd have gladly thought about giving it another chance when more mature but the way they treated this makes it very unlikely.

Extremely unreliable platform, poor support, and misleading credit system
My experience with Krater has been consistently disappointing. The platform fails at even the most basic tasks. Simple requests routinely break. The model starts responding, deletes its own output, and leaves me with a failed to respond message. This happened repeatedly today and burned through half my credits with nothing to show for it. It feels like a scam when credits disappear but no usable work is produced. I requested a refund after my account renewed automatically and support denied it without offering any meaningful resolution. I also asked three separate times to have the student discount applied to my account. Each time I was told it would be handled and each time nothing happened. Finally, I requested markdown files that the model claimed were successfully created but they never appeared. The system says tasks are completed when they clearly are not. Krater has been unreliable, unresponsive, and costly. I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

Not reliable
I purchased a lifetime deal through AppSumo. After a few months, I received a note from the owner that his platform had been attacked and that there had been a number of fraudulent charges; therefore, he could no longer honor the deal and asked me to buy a membership package. I wrote through the contact page, but no answers. Not nice.
