Genau so sollte es sein

Sehr gute Erfahrung von Anfang bis Ende. Alles war transparent, zuverlässig und deutlich unkomplizierter als erwartet. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf einen guten Service gelegt wird. Ich würde den Anbieter jederzeit wieder nutzen.

Kuario Guthaben nach Auszahlung 0 Euro

Hallo, Guthabenauszahlung kostet Gebühr, Verwahrung kostet Gebühr. Wo kann ich das Guthaben in Köln noch einsetzen? Es gibt keine Kopierer mehr an der Universität zu Köln.

Additional charge after additional charge...

I moved to a new country and was required by immigration to print some legal documentation - a Kuario printer was the only printer available to me at the time. In order to print anything, I had to set up an account and add a minimum of 5€ to my wallet. Initially I tried to do this via methods such as google pay or mastercard - all of which were apparently viable methods according to the app, however these all failed with no explanation given. The only method left to top up my account was via paypal, which incurred an additional charge, but because of the situation I was in I paid the extra money and the transaction went through. I printed the documents I needed and left my account open with money still inside in case I had further need of it. A few months later, I left the country, having not used my account since I first arrived and therefore attempted, via the Kuario app, to refund my money (4,70€). I would have to pay 0,50€ by way of transaction fee, which I was happy enough to do given I would be receiving most of the money back. However, even after several attempts, refunding through the app failed. I took to contacting their refunds email and received an automated reply within seconds informing me that I can try getting my refund through the app - the same way I had JUST tried. This email also mentioned that should I wish to submit a transfer request with them, an administration fee of 2,50€ would be taken, which would make the entire effort of refunding such a small amount pointless. I have emailed again, to no response, and cannot find a contact number anywhere. The process of receiving a refund should be simple but Kuario makes it into an endless obstacle course. It seems to me that they wish to wait until 12 months have passed (since my initial transaction) so that they can keep all of the money. Absolutely zero transparency.

We have investigated your case and found that the refund to your PayPal account was unfortunately rejected by our payment service provider. Neither PayPal nor the payment provider supplied any reason for this rejection. Because no explanation was available to our support team, the follow-up on your request took much longer than it should have, and for that we sincerely apologize. To be clear, we will not charge the additional €2.50 administration fee in your case. We fully understand that this would be unreasonable given the circumstances. We are sorry that you have had to wait so long for the return of your wallet balance. This is certainly not how the process normally works. In standard situations, automatic refunds are processed within 24 hours. We will make sure that your remaining balance of €4.70 is refunded to your PayPal account as soon as possible. Regarding the issue with topping up your KUARIO Wallet using Visa or Mastercard: this is related to card scheme regulations. Visa and Mastercard do not allow certain cards issued outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to be used for topping up an e-money wallet within the EEA. In such cases, we only receive a payment decline message and unfortunately are not provided with any further details that we can share with customers. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our services and communication. Again, we apologize for your experience and will ensure that your refund is resolved. Also ich benutzte die Kuario App bisher…

Also ich benutzte die Kuario App bisher immer wieder. Ich habe auch ein Guthaben dadrauf. Jetzt wurde der Druckerservice von Digitexx Köln unerwartet an der Universität zu Köln beendet. Ich kann also nicht mehr drucken/kopieren/scannen. Kuario will allen ernstes für die Rückerstattung des Guthabens eine Gebühr einbehalten obwohl die Dienstleistung eingestellt wurde. Kuario kann mir auch keinen alternativen Standort nennen zum Verbrauch des Guthabens.

Gleichzeitig möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass ein neuer Betreiber an der Universität auch weiterhin KUARIO als Druck- und Bezahllösung anbieten kann, sodass der Service möglicherweise in Zukunft wieder verfügbar sein wird. Die Nutzung von KUARIO selbst ist für Anwender kostenlos. Wie jedoch in unseren Geschäftsbedingungen angegeben, können bei der Rückerstattung von Wallet-Guthaben Gebühren anfallen. Diese entstehen durch externe Zahlungsdienstleister und werden in solchen Fällen entsprechend weiterberechnet. No, you can’t have a refund. Pay us more.

Paid to print several documents through the service, the printer gives up after about 1/4 of my order and a message on the screen pops up. They claim that my remaining documents could not be printed and that I have now received a credit from the company for the remaining documents. I can either create an account and have the credit deposited there or enter my email and get a gift card for the amount. I choose the gift card as I do not want to create an account for the service that I’m currently using as a guest. When I receive the email with the gift card, they claim that I need to create an account in order for me to use the gift card. Why even give me the option of a gift card if I will have to create an account regardless? I am dissatisfied with this and choose to write to support where I request a refund for the remaining 3/4 of the documents I did not get printed. The support agent repeatedly claims that it is IMPOSSIBLE to refund the unredeemed gift card and that even if I create an account and credit the gift card, they will refuse to refund the amount. This is despite the fact that they claim that this should be possible in the FAQ section of their website. Kuario’s solution to my issue reads as following: ”We recommend to register for an account when you try to print again. In that case you can topup the balance with your bankcard and any remaining balance can then be refunded to your bank account.” I read this as; Spend more money and potentially have some of the new money refunded if you happen to spend too much. Suffice to say this is not an acceptable solution. I’ve used this service several times and not had an issue but now I really don’t want to again. This is no way of handling a customer who hasn’t received the service they paid for.

We would like to explain to you that KUARIO is not the operator or owner the device you used. The operator is primarily responsible for the delivery of the products of the selfservice device. In your case, it is the delivery of the printed documents. If this fails then by default the local operator will resolve this with you. In this case, the device has seen that the printout was not fully successful. There could be various reasons for this, such as paper or toner not being refilled in time. To handle this financially, we offer the option of a voucher. Our intention is always to offer flexible solutions, but we clearly fell short in making the process smooth and transparent in your case. We’re especially sorry that the information in our FAQ did not align with the support you received — that’s something we take seriously and will review internally to ensure consistency and clarity.
