They Refuse Replacement for Wrong Size or Bad Fit
Ordered shoes online. I installed clips to and walked around my home only to see how they felt. The fit was tight. I sent them back the next day. After a week and a half I called to check status. They told me the would review and send the updated size after review. A week later I received the same shoes with a statement saying they had been worn. This is horrible customer service after spending between $200-$300 on shoes that I can’t wear because the fit is too tight. Please beware. There was absolutely no damage. I only walked around my home for less than 5 minutes. This was used to justify not replacing the shoes.

Sean was very helpful (and patient)!
It took several tries, but Sean at Lake US was very helpful. My 47 MX242 fit my rather wide foot perfectly. Most conversion charts align a 47 with a US size 13. However, the 46 (self measured) and the 46.5 were both too small. I wear a size 12 dress shoe and size 12.5 running shoe. Like Goldilocks, I found the 47s just right!

INFERIOR QUALITY CYCLING SHOES
Just returned a pair of Lake cycling shoes made in Asia and the quality of the finish was really poor. I compared them along side a pair of SIDI shoes made in Italy and the difference was clear. I paid £6 for shipping and they charged me £9 to return them. It really isn’t worth taking the risk on their inferior quality and sizing when they charge such a premium for postage.

I have struggled to find cycling shoes…
I have struggled to find cycling shoes that didn’t give me numbness and pain spots due to being too narrow. The LakeCX21C Wide have changed my experience and got me back on my bike. No foot pain or numbness even on long rides. I got mine in blue and they’re stylish too

The material above the toes ( on the…
The material above the toes ( on the inside) has bunched up and there's a noticeable ridge inside that's hard in between the big toe and second toe.not great for shoes advertised as £300. I don't want to send them back because ive had a bike fit and the cleats are in the perfect position for me
