The worst store builder experience

The worst store builder experience. In my 7+ years in e-commerce, I’ve never dealt with support this bad. They are hopeless and rely entirely on scripts—talking to an AI would be more helpful. Their only response is an empty promise about 'escalating the issue to the dev team,' followed by days of absolute silence. They don't even provide a phone number. I should have listened to my friends who warned me about their terrible service and never use this platform that is only built for nonecommerce people. Save your time, energy, and money: avoid Lightfunnels completely.

Just to clarify a few points: The use of AI in support is completely normal in modern systems, whether for assisting in support conversations, generating responses, or handling initial routing before an agent joins. In your case, the AI was simply guiding the flow of the chat by asking for more details or indicating that an agent would join. Regarding the issues you reported: For the domain, we confirmed from our side that it is working correctly. You continued to report that it was not working, so we escalated it to the development team. After review, they confirmed the domain is functioning as expected, and the issue was related to caching on your side. The second issue was also escalated to the team. In e-commerce systems, some requests and investigations take time depending on the nature of the case. Once the team reviewed it, we provided you with the clarification based on how the system is designed to work. We are also seeing the negative feedback you’ve been sending. We understand frustration can happen, and this is part of normal support handling when concerns arise. We remain available to assist you with anything further.

I regret switching from Shopify to…

I regret switching from Shopify to Lightfunnels. I switched from Shopify to Lightfunnels specifically to support a Moroccan SaaS, and I genuinely regret that decision. The platform is riddled with bugs. One example: when a customer simply views a product, it automatically gets added to their cart. I spent days troubleshooting on my end before realizing the issue wasn't mine, it was Lightfunnels'. When I reached out to their support team (with all due respect), the experience was incredibly disappointing. Every single time, I got the same response: "I'll escalate this to the dev team." I'd follow up, and get the exact same line again. It honestly felt like I was talking to a bot, not a human. I hate leaving negative reviews, but people deserve to know: this platform has so many bugs that my business was effectively shut down for nearly 10 days while I tried to fix an issue that was never resolved. I would never use Lightfunnels again, and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone who already has a working business. I'm going back to Shopify.
