A great school to learn Zhongwen
This is my fourth summer studying at LTL Language School in Taipei, and each experience has been truly amazing. All of the teachers—including Sissy, Kate, Tammy Xu, Anqi and Francine, whom I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know—are incredibly dedicated and supportive, and they have helped me make great progress in my language skills. Although I don’t have many opportunities to practise during the rest of the year, I notice a clear improvement every time I return to LTL. It’s a wonderful place to learn, grow, and stay motivated! The class levels are well organised and I always felt well in my group. If your own language level doesn’t match that of the class, you can easily switch to a different level. The admin staff – Sunny, Riona and Alin – are very friendly and help with every little thing. This starts right from the preparation for the summer course. The social events are brilliant and give you the chance to get to know both Taiwanese culture and the other students better. Would I recommend the LTL School? ABSOLUTELY...

Heritage Speaker’s Experience Learning Vietnamese
Before coming to study at LTL, as a heritage speaker I could have simple conversations, but could hardly read/write. I chose LTL because of the opportunities for intensive classes and activities to interact with other students and natives. I only studied here for 3 weeks, but I think my Vietnamese has improved immensely, giving me the foundation to continue my studies back home. I am deeply appreciative of my teacher, John, who challenged and pushed me. My class was exclusively in Vietnamese and that helped greatly with immersion. I recommend LTL to anyone coming to Saigon to study Vietnamese! Trước khi đến Sài Gòn để học tiếng việt, tôi hầu như không thể đọc và viết được. Bay giờ tôi biết đọc va viết một xíu được. Tôi chọn LTL vì tôi thích lớp intensive ở bên đây. Tôi muốn cảm ơn thầy giáo, John, nhờ sự tận tâm dạy dỗ của John. Cảm ơn LTL nhiều!

I studied at LTL Language School Osaka…
I studied at LTL Language School Osaka for 3 weeks from July-mid August 2026 and had an unforgettable time, it exceeded my expectations immensely. I opted in for the half-board Homestay accommodation alongside my lesson plan, which was a great choice and my speaking ability improved so much from daily interactions with the host family. My objective was to improve my reading and writing skills on Hiragana and Katakana and learn some Kanji, while mainly focusing on improving my speaking ability and confidence. The lesson structure was flexible to accommodate my needs and I had lessons with 6 different teachers and I genuinely enjoyed every lesson! The teachers are relaxed and authentic in their approach to getting to know you as a student and understanding your requirements, and there were many times when I was talking to them about shared experiences so comfortably that I forgot I was actually speaking Japanese with them! I was given the Tobira Intermediate textbook on arrival, which definitely challenged me. I also had multiple Kanji tests to assess my progress; which in turn made me motivated to work hard and study Kanji, the area I'm weakest in. The school director Hiyori-San works hard to organise multiple socials every week for the students to get to know eachother, and I've made some great friends through this experience. Special mention to my senseitachi Hiroko Nishioka-San, who taught me multiple times and was very kind and instructive! Also to Junichi Seukane-San, with whom I had fun discussing Japanese Philosophy and Religion, and Naomi Miyai-San, who taught me on my very last day but left a lasting impression on me. The lessons were so much more than Japanese grammar and language, and I was able to have many interesting conversations about Japanese society and culture with all of them. I am overjoyed to have graduated with a B1 qualification, and I'm more motivated than ever to keep learning Japanese. I definitely recommend LTL Osaka to anyone looking for a Japanese language school. Thank you for the excellent service!

I was a student here for four weeks, and signed up for group classes. However, they didn’t have other students at my skill level entering at the same time, so they converted my classes into two hours of private tutoring, a compromise I was more than satisfied with. I found my teacher, Juan Tang, to be knowledgeable, kind, and overachieving in teaching. She brought games, changed her curriculum to suit my needs, and answered questions outside of school hours. Besides that, she was kind, enthusiastic, and very encouraging, even going so far as to give me a gift in our final lesson! Besides the teaching, the location is excellent, the admin organized, and the community warm. The students are varied and international, with weekly, always changing activities.

LTL CHENGDU, my experience
I was at LTL Chengdu for a total of 3 weeks and i had a wonderful time there. The school itself is located in the city centre which is very convenient for exploring Chengdu itself. Chengdu as a city is really fun and cool, i would recommend it anytime! Miss Ying helped me out beforehand via video call about any questions i had, which really helped me feel secure before my arrival. The staff/teachers are all very nice and supportive. There are not only older teachers, but also really young ones, like mine. My teacher Stiles helped me out many times, like buying mosquito medicine, my future and any other questions that i had about China (travel, taobao). The lessons were so fun and i learned tons, she is a amazing teacher and works so much on how to explain each student the sometimes at first challenging topics. I didn’t get to experience teacher panpan‘s lessons but from what i heard, she is great aswell. She is just like my teacher (young and) really nice! We (stiles,panpan) went out for dancing lessons and alot of other cool things. Not just the staff is welcoming but also all the other students! We all did so much cool stuff, like a spa day, club, museums, ktv… and so much more! My homestay was also so lovely, Monica, her sister Rachel and her friend that i got to meet..all were so sweet! They helped me out many times, like for ordering packages, being stuck in the subway station or being locked outside the apartment..I am so grateful to them. I will miss Chengdu alot, the delicious food, cheap online ordering and the amazing people i got to meet. I recommend LTL Chengdu for everyone that wants to explore sichuan, have amazing teachers + a amazing homestay and see cute pandas everywhere! ❤️ 谢谢呀
