Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit den Akkustikpaneelen von Luxury Wood. Wir haben sie in Eiche Natur geölt bestellt. Wir waren zunächst skeptisch wegen der „langen Lieferzeit“. Aber das „Warten“ hat sich gelohnt und die Lieferung erfolgte zeitlich, wie abgesprochen. Alles Tippi Toppi. Können wir weiterempfehlen. Ja es ist nicht günstig, aber hochwertig und stilvoll. Danke für Eure Arbeit.

Card details stolen.

Due to a skimming incident on the company website, my details were stolen and my card details harvested and used to commit bank fraud. I am avoiding this company from now . The wood was fine, but the ensuing identity theft and card fraud caused no end of problems..BUYER BEWARE REPLY to Company: Thank you for your prompt reply and for taking the matter seriously. I am not alleging that your company deliberately stored or mishandled my card details, nor that you intentionally caused the fraud. I fully understand (and expected) that you use accredited third-party payment processors and do not store card information yourself — that is standard practice. What I experienced is a textbook case of online card skimming (also known as Magecart or formjacking). This is a form of malware that is injected into a website’s checkout page (often via a compromised third-party script or supply-chain attack). It silently captures the card details in real time as the customer types them into the form, before the data even reaches your payment provider. These attacks are specifically designed to be undetectable to both the website owner and the customer: there is no obvious server breach, no stolen database, and no logs showing data being “scraped” in the traditional sense. The skimmer simply harvests the information live and sends it to the criminals. Many reputable companies have been hit by exactly this without realising it until customers (or banks) report fraud. My bank’s fraud team conducted a full investigation that took over six months precisely because these skimming incidents are complex to trace. The bank explicitly identified your transaction as the source; this was not guesswork on my part. In the meantime, because the fraud and subsequent identity-theft issues caused me genuine harm, I will leave my review in place as a factual account of my experience. I have amended the wording slightly to make it clearer that this was a skimming incident rather than a traditional “data breach” in the server sense. I genuinely hope this helps you strengthen your site and prevent the same thing happening to other customers.

Dear Sir, We take allegations of this nature extremely seriously, and your review is both concerning and, as it stands, entirely unsubstantiated. Our systems are designed so that we do not store customers’ credit card details at any point. Payments are processed securely via accredited third-party providers, and we have no access to, nor ability to “scrape,” the sensitive card information you describe. To date, we have received no evidence from you—or any other source—of a data breach within our systems. At present, your claim directly attributes criminal activity to our company without providing any supporting proof. This is a serious allegation that has the potential to cause significant reputational harm. We therefore formally request that you either: Provide verifiable evidence demonstrating that the alleged breach originated from our systems, or Remove or amend your review to reflect the lack of substantiated connection to our company. If this matter is not resolved promptly, we will have no choice but to consider further action to protect our business from defamatory statements. We remain open to engaging with you constructively to understand your situation, but we cannot accept public claims that are presented as fact without evidence. Please contact us directly so we can address this appropriately. REPLY to CUSTOMER: Thank you for your response. Your continued public assertion that your card details were compromised as a result of using our website remains unsubstantiated and is not supported by any evidence available to us. While you reference “Magecart” or formjacking-style attacks, there is currently no indication—internally or from any independent authority—that our website, checkout, or any associated third-party integrations have been compromised in this way. We monitor our systems and payment flows closely, and no such activity has been detected. Moreover, we have not received a single comparable report from any other customer, which would be expected in the case of a genuine skimming incident. It is important to highlight that the scenario you describe—real-time interception of card data—is significantly more consistent with compromise at the endpoint level (i.e. on the customer’s own device), such as malware, a browser extension, or other form of local infection. This is a well-documented and common source of card detail theft and does not implicate the merchant’s systems. In addition, under UK and European payment regulations, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is mandated for online card transactions. This introduces two-factor authentication (e.g. bank app approval or one-time passcode) at the point of payment. This control exists specifically to prevent fraudulent use of card details, even if they were obtained. Any subsequent fraudulent transactions would therefore have required authentication outside of our control and responsibility. Despite this, your review—both in its original and amended form—continues to present our company as the source of the compromise. This is a serious and unfounded allegation. Referencing a bank investigation without providing any verifiable documentation does not constitute evidence, particularly when no such findings have been shared with us or any regulatory body. We again formally request that you remove or substantially amend your review so that it does not attribute responsibility to our systems without proof. If you are able to provide independently verifiable evidence demonstrating that our website was the point of compromise, we will of course investigate this immediately and take appropriate action. However, if the review remains in its current form, we will have no option but to consider legal remedies in respect of defamatory statements that are causing reputational harm to our business. We remain willing to engage constructively and review any credible evidence you are able to provide. Please confirm how you wish to proceed.

Flame Plus clinker build up

I have used Luxury Wood Company for several months now and the first few deliveries of wood pellets were great, good price and burnt well. However the last load of Flame Plus have left large deposits of clinker on the fire plate which has caused the boiler to cut out several times a day. We had to call-out our heating engineer to reset the boiler and the constant fault has no stopped but I now have to remove this clinker build every other day to keep the boiler working. This is really annoying and disappointing as Flame Plus have been fine before this. The engineering has spoken to his go to expert who said that in his experience (considerable) clinker build up in always due to too much bark in the pellets. I realise that wood pellets are are variable, natural product but this is not good. I just can’t afford to use Flame Plus again. Not sure how much this is Luxury Wood Company’s fault, more down to Flame Plus’ manufacturing process but I bought from LWC so this review has to be for them. Now on the search for another reasonably priced alternative pellet.

Excellent quality and good service

We bought from Luxury Wood after a recommendation from a neighbour. We placed the order and the wood arrived as described, very packed in a pallet with some good weather proofing on top and the side. Just as well as it arrived in time for all the wet weather we have just had. The beech logs are of excellent consistent quality and are providing great heat output as fuel for our log burner. We previously bought logs locally (at a slightly lower cost) which were just 'dumped' on our drive - they were less uniform in size and didn't burn as well - the pallet was a lot easier to stack in our wood store as well. We will definitely use Luxury Wood again next time! Thank You

Wood pellets

I changed my opinion of these pellets after a few days of using them,yes the soot is pretty black but my glass screen, where we see the flame has been much clearer than with other pellets so we can enjoy looking at that for a much longer time than we usually have with other pellets. So actually we will purchase again and sorry for the earlier review, I should have given the item more time before to see how it performed over a longer time period
