Vietnam 24 days tailor made tour with a wheelchair
Vietnam has been on our bucket list for a while, but we had some hesitation, especially bringing a manual wheelchair to Vietnam. We searched and found Maika Tours and we must say, it was an experience that surpassed all our expectations. From the moment we reached out to enquire abut a possible travel itinerary we knew we were in excellent hands. The owner Mr Giang Vu proposed a trip schedule which we adjusted to our preferences and requirements. Every detail was meticulously planned and researched by Mr Gian Vu. The planning process was seamless and with clear communications at all times. Booking a trip trough an agent in a foreign county you don't know is not easy, but Mr Giang Vu made us feel so comfortable that we felt we made the right decision. The local guides Hoàn in North, Charlie in Central and Tan David in South Vietnam were exceptional. Their deep knowledge of the destinations, coupled with their passion for sharing it made the tour exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure we had authentic and enriching experiences, giving us insights into the food, culture, history and local way of life. All three guides were trained to handle clients with a wheelchair in a professional and very friendly manner. We felt comfortable from the first minute we met. We travelled in a large and very comfortable van with careful and helpful drivers. All Hotels were carefully chosen according to the accessibility with a wheelchair and met our expectations and some even exceeded. We arrived in Vietnam meeting new people and left as friends. These experiences made the trip truly memorable and distinct from other travel services. A lovely day out with Maika Tours
Meeting us at the ship was quick and easy and the transport was lovely. Thanks for all the help with my son in a wheelchair. We appreciated your willingness to change the itinerary to meet our needs. We saw lots of interesting things and enjoyed our time in Vung Tao. The lunch was delicious!! Many thanks

My friend and I signed up for 4 of the Maika Tours (Mekong Delta, HCMC. Ben Duoc Tunnels, and Long Tan) and we enjoyed every minute of those experiences! This was the BEST decision I made for our 2 weeks stay in Saigon. The tours were definitely personalized! Three of the tours were led by Tien and the other one was led by Mr. Hung. They were both fantastic guides! They were both flexible, accommodating, fun, caring, kind, understanding, patient, and knowledgeable (in history and in English speaking). I highly recommend these personalized tours because it allows you to get out of the car and get up close to seeing the sights. For example, we got to see rubber trees up close and were able to talk to the workers (through our guides) and learned the process of extracting the latex. We had a chance to engage with the local people and ask questions about their job and their daily routine. Everyone we came across was extremley kind and friendly. The guides were really great intrepreters! Mr. Kiet, our driver, for all four tours, was also very kind and friendly. He was so thoughtful and brought us one of our favorite sweet treats twice! His car was immaculate and his driving was perfect in Saigon traffic. We felt very safe on the road with Mr. Kiet as our driver. Mr. Giang was always a phone call or a message away. When we got lost in Saigon, he was a phone call away and guided us in the right direction. When we couldn't get into the Secret Weapon Cellar, Mr. Giang made a few phone calls, and someone came to open the museum for us (almost immediately). Mr. Giang was always there to help us out! We did not feel alone at all! Thanks to these guys at Maika Tours, we definitely feel like we were treated extremely well and everything worked out perfectly for us. Everyone was extremely reliable and dependable. This made us feel safe and allowed us to not feel stressed. We were able to focus on enjoying our time in this beautiful country. Thank you Maika Tours for giving us such a positive experience
